Dateline: June 17, 2009. The first boadcast of CN Real, and the day Cartoon Network, as we knew it, died. That's the day they started airing reality shows on a network which, according to it's name, was dedicated to cartoons, animation, and it's many, many fans.

But you guys didn't go quietly into the night. You flocked to the net, posting rants, petitions, and seething reviews. Best of all, you chose not to watch CN Real.

But nothing worked. No public announcements, no acknowledgements, no change, and no dice. Hell, they even released that "Hearing What I Said" vid to appease our generation with rock 'n' roll and extreme sports (more like panem et circenses if you ask me). It appeared as though there was nothing we could do.

Until now.

How do you fight a Cartoon channel that doesn't want to air cartoons? Shove the toons in their face.

It's time to fight music video with animated music video. I and a few other YouTubers are currently working on a parody of "Hearing What I Said" starring fan-favorite Johnny Bravo in place of Andrew W.K. It will be fully animated frame-by-frame in Flash, and it will include voice acting and, of course music with original lyrics.

What can you do?

Well the first thing is to MAKE THAT VID GO VIRAL. Send it to friends and foes alike. Once I complete it with the help of some fellow YouTubers, I'll post it as a video response to this. When that time comes, COMMENT AND SEND SEND SEND! "United Breaks Guitars" got their message through, and it's imperative that the same happens to us!

The other thing is to CONTRIBUTE PROTEST ART, VIDEOS, AND MUSIC AND POST THEM AS A VIDEO RESPONSE. Once again, send send send. The more people the merrier. Never underestimate the power of very idealistic and determined people in large groups.

WHAT ELSE YOU CAN DO: Show support for the cause by placing this image (found at http://xxchels922xx.deviantart.com/ar... ) wherever you can! Folders, desktop wallpapers, photobucket, flickr, Myspace pages, Facebook, deviantART, ANYWHERE! SPREAD THE WORD THROUGH IMAGERY!

Also, be sure to BOYCOTT CN REAL!! DON'T WATCH IT PLZ!

OUR GOAL: Don't ask for your favorite shows back, we just want the Reality shows off the channel. Don't get greedy, and be sure to focus on getting the reality shows off.
