This Tournament is over, go home boys!

Well, hello there!

I'm Mile Man and I'm the organizer of this tournament.

So, what are we going to do?

We'll be using a 5v5 TDM format.
Every team will have 10 points.
Your team loses a point with each death of a player.
There are no respawns until the final fight!

The tournament will follow a custom bracket.
The seeds will be randomly created by our friend https://www.random.org/ .

Keep an eye on the group's discussions, as we'll be trying to keep all the organization within this group!

You can also look for teammates there if you need more people for your team, so click here to recruit new members!

The stage where the battle is fought will be a circle.
The player's starting positions will be the following:
for 5v5 it will look like this and for the finals it will be this.
The Team Captains will choose their players' starting positions independently from other teams. You will not be able to change them after you get to know your opponent's ones.

Regarding the Health Points after each fight: there will be healing. We just count losses.
Also, throwables will be prohibited.
Playing the same class more than twice in a team will be prohibited.

Breaking rules of any kind will be heavily punished, so be careful!

Prize Pool? C-Capes!?

Cape only goes to members of the winner teams.

We will also have a prize pool that's run by donators, so if you want to contribute post here!

When?

The tournament will take place on the 20th of February.
A rehearsal will be taking place on the 13th of February, where all attendees will get to practice before the real tournament on the 20th!

Finals on 5th of March 2016.

For the 20th of February, Saturday

Check-ins: 18:00 GMT and 18:00 CST
Start of the tournament: 19:00 GMT and 19:00 CST

We will do the check-ins in Steam group chat. The team Captains will have to check-in for their team.

GMT is for Europe and North-West Asia and CST is for America, obviously.

Final words

Now that the Tournament is over we will begin handing out prizes.
The #1 teams of each region get to choose games from the prize pool.
To get them check out the latest thread!
Be quick though, first come first serve!

The cape will be handed out to the 3 winner teams of each region as soon as it is finished (It's all in the hands of fug and Advanced though).
