About the Zoo
It's as wild as life gets at Australia Zoo, Home of the Crocodile Hunter, Terri, Bindi & Robert Irwin. The team of wildlife warriors here at Australia Zoo are passionate about wildlife and continuing the legacy of the original wildlife warrior, Steve Irwin.

Australia Zoo is proud to be the major sponsor of our world-class hospital via Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, a non-profit charity established by Steve and Terri Irwin in 2002. Australia Zoo also funds the 24-hour Rescue Unit which successfully rescues, rehabilitates and releases sick and injured wildlife anywhere from all over South East Queensland and beyond.
