The management of these servers has become too much for us admins to want to handle with the direction that the ARK devs have been going with the updates to this game and we've decided that we no longer wish to host these servers. If anyone else would like to host these servers then they are welcome to the server files.

We've delt with a lot of the same bugs and glitches for 2 years now and the focus of the game has continued to be 'add more content' (which continues to add more bugs) and 'enforce control' rather than bugfix.

We continue to lose control of our privately hosted servers as they push out updates that take away settings and features that we previously had making this a fun and open game and enforce settings that make it so that the game must be played their way. Even if controlling these things made sense on the Official Servers, there is no reason why they should enforce settings on privately hosted, unofficial servers.

We can't choose to run older versions on privately hosted servers if we don't want the updates that are pushed out because the game is forced to upgrade and will not connect to a server running an older version.

This game is unplayable for small and 1 member tribes on small servers without installing mods that give back the control and features that they keep taking away. They continue to take away the things that made this game fun because they have decided that the game should only be played the way that they want it to be played.

Thanks for the good times! We wish it didn't have to end like this.
