Alpha 17.1 Is Out!

also wiped the server and went to Nav map random gen is so broken

wiped server. new seed. lots of good POI's. changed spawners. no more radiated zeds. no vultures. no dogs, like a REAL Zombie Experience

will be adding some modifacations like Headshot only. maybe some custom ammo, changing tools to be weapons, more to come

Hard to believe but it’s been nearly a year and a half since our last major update. That said, this has been our longest and largest update so far. On top of that, it’s the biggest content drop we’ve ever done. In the future, you can expect shorter 3 month build cycles as we have done all the heavy framework changes we wanted to do in this build.

Please remember that this is build is not without issues. See known issues at the bottom of this post. We will be patching the build after the holidays. More optimizations are coming, so if you are not getting the performance you did in previous builds, we highly recommend you lower your resolution and view distance as the first steps. Our team has commented how much better the game looks than previous builds even with a lower resolution and view distance as the HD textures, PBR and distance trees have really changed the game. If you’re still not seeing enough performance, lower reflection quality and tree quality.

Increased zombie Jog and Run speeds slightly
Biomes now generated by xml settings again
Repair kits are crafted with mechanical parts instead of forged iron
Players use up less food
The blunderbuss is easier to craft
Anvils cost more than a single tool to make
Bullet casings & lead tips require a tool and die set in the forge to craft. They are unlocked with tier 1 of science
Tool and die sets are a little more common at traders
Localization of tool and die set to indicate it is used to craft munitions
Models atlas has a higher streaming priority, hopefully will not render blurry so often
Increased several material XP values

Red tea does not apply its buff
Vehicle key bindings do not save after game exit/restart
NRE on trying to bind mousewheel on any UI control

POI's are floating or partially floating in RWG and unstable
Downtown POIs not spawning
Position of trader changes when declining quest offers
Not able to start building in prefab manager
Quality items bought from the trader have missing or inconsistent mod slots
Health is random value on respawn
Sometimes you die on the dedi and get a forced respawn only to die again
Zombies continue to attack when stunned (ResetAnimations)
Crawlers and spiders standing after ragdoll ends

ok... so total program failur, server threw up on its self nothing would render,, everything went to ♥♥♥♥... wipped it , im going to try Navezgane for new since they did all the programming for it ..
