As you all undoubtedly know, we have an event tomorrow at 9pm GMT. Hopefully this time the UA won't be a bunch of butt-hurt hippies who leave because they don't have enough people ( their own fault ).

However, we also have a training together with the other cavalry regiment. This training will take place at 7pm GMT, and I strongly hope you will all be there. Otherwise, you'll all get killed during the event.

If you can't attend the event/training ( or both ), and you haven't already done this, pease notify me or Tankgun!

Just a quick reminder to you all: tomorrow there will be a North and South event at 9pm GMT. However, I would like you all te be there +- half an hour earlier ( 8.30pm GMT) so I can do some explaining regarding the organisation and the cavalry rules. This way, you can also all be sure of a spot on the server, which can be nasty if you're late.

Given that we have never trained cavalry, I don't expect you all to do fantastic, but that's OK. Regarding the training, I will try to talk to my fellow officers after the event and see what I can get figured out.

As every regiment has its "rules" and guidelines, so has ours. I've posted them on the Teamspeak under the tab "3rd Florida Cavalry" but since I know none of you actually read that, :-), I have put them underneath as well. Please feel free to read them!

- Your tags are: DA_3rdFL_rank_name

- Listen to the commands of the NCO's and CO's

- Don't troll

- Never make any racist, discriminating, homophobic, antisemetic, ... remarks

- Always be on time for events, if you can't make it in time or have to leave earlier, notify the CO

- Having discussions, of any descent kind, is great but not during events, and only as long as it stays polite and you respect the other's opinion

- Attend every training and every saturday night line battle. Try to attend all other events as well; If you, for whatever reason, can't attend the event, notify the CO

- Feel free, particularly officers, to put [3rdFL] in front, or behind, your steam name

- And most important: HAVE FUN!!

Finally we have been accepted in the DA, so at the moment I am talking to you as Colonel Karateka of the 3rd Florida Cavalry! We're part of the Cavalry corps, which basically means that during events we will work closely together with the 2 other cav regiments.
