Battle of Hodow is one of the most famous hussars and armored victories from the 17th century. It all began with the Tatar invasion, the aim of which was to gain Jasmine. Against him, the royal Hussar raid led by Jan III Sobieski under the command of the crown cavort of Mikołaj Złotnicki and the royal hussar royale of Marshal Józef Lubomirski. Both are a combination of approximately 100 hussars and a group of around 300 armored men.

Just so close to the village of Hodów to the Tatar front guard with around 500-600 horses. The Poles are quick to realize that the main forces are behind them, so they left the horses and retreated to the village of Hodów. There they created a temporary defense and 400 soldiers for many hours.

400 Poles oppose the attack of 40,000 Tatars. Today, the anniversary of the Polish Thermopylae, only that, defenders are win :)
