I can get the Heart of Darkness one, but I can't pass the final trials. Anyone know how to?

Hello .. Hello ... anyone there.....

During an encounter with slavers Kral was taken captive. I first attempted to buy his freedom, then negotiated to go in his place- which was accepted. I went through the arena storyline- and then he shows up wanting revenge for being supposedly left with the slavers and having to fight in the arena. Neither of which happened. So I suspect that there's a problem linking a choice in the slaver sequence, so that I ended up hopping into a paralel timeline where I left him to his fate :)...

Not a single World War II game. Army Command. Just stupid things like this.
