Splitgate 2 is a dead game in the making.

Absolutely horrible map design along with disgusting, gross-looking lgbt heroes that, despite having about 4 guns to choose from you really only have 1 that is practical to use stat wise. I win pretty much every game I play in the alpha, but the game is still not fun and a war crime compared to the first one that could have just used an upgrade....

Splitgate 2 Alpha - Live Now

Hello, Splitfam! Today we have opened the servers for Splitgate 2 Alpha and admitted our first wave of players.

If you haven’t hit the ‘Request Access’ button on the Steam store page yet, there’s still time to do it. We’ll be admitting more players between now and August 25 and hope we’ll see you in the arena.

If you are granted access to Alpha via Steam, you’ll get an email from Steam notifying you, and Splitgate 2 Alpha will appear in your Steam Library. Just download and login to get portaling.

When is Alpha happening and how long will it last?

The initial Alpha will be available from approximately 9am Pacific (noon Eastern, 5pm BST, 6pm CEST) on August 21, 2024 until 8pm Pacific (11pm Eastern, 4am BST, 5am CEST, both August 26) on August 25, 2024. To figure out what time that is in your part of the world, we recommend checking out https://www.everytimezone.com/.

Am I guaranteed to be able to play in Alpha for Splitgate 2?

We can’t guarantee access and are not able to announce how many players will be allowed in. We’ll be allowing more people in throughout the Alpha and certainly hope you get in!

After I’ve applied to Alpha, do I have to re-apply in future?

No you don’t. Once you’ve applied for access to Alpha, you’re on the list to be granted access for any future Alphas. In addition, once you’re granted access, it’s for all Alphas.

I’m a content creator, can I stream and/or make content about Splitgate 2?

Absolutely. There are no restrictions on streaming or capturing gameplay during Alpha. Make sure that when you post, you tag @Splitgate on our socials, or use the hashtag #Splitgate2 so we can see it. Also you might consider applying to our Splitgate MVP Program[mvp.splitgate.com].

I requested access to beta maybe 60 seconds after it went on steam

Still no key, i couldnt have been any quicker to request, unsure how they choose maybe ceratin regions

Please don't force TAA. Add an off option

TAA causes motion smearing when you move your character or pan the camera. This is not only bad for competitive games / the FPS genre, but its also an accessibility issue. We all know motion blur can cause motion sickness in many people which is why its optional, and that's essentially what this, thus making the game completely inaccessible to a large portion of people like myself. Motion sickness is the most common cause of discomfort when gaming. I'd love to upgrade from Splitgate to Splitgate 2, but ...
