Added shader compilation to the startup sequence of the game. This will make the gameplay experience smoother for lower-end hardware and will also make sure that the experience is smoother in the following scenarios: after a graphics driver update, after purposeful/accidental clearing of shader cache, and after updating to newer versions of BRUTAL KATANA.
Fixed the texture sampling for UI textures, they now look silky smooth again!
Fixed a typo in the ending cutscenes' dialogue.

sliding around corners and other ways of getting faster

I am trying to get 3 starts on all the levels and I am couple mini seconds just off. I was wondering does sliding around corners after you land slow you down? I am trying to figure out the quirks of the movement mechanics

wish All-Levels Rush Mode!

BRUTAL KATANA is absolutely awesome! feels like a truly competitive game. I’d love to see an All-Levels Rush Mode added to the game:)

Added more resolutions to the Display > Resolution setting.
Added ambience to Main Menu (had forgotten to unmute it lol).
Added setting to mute game audio when the game window is not in focus. Can be toggled with Audio > Mute UnFocused Window setting.
Minor 3D rendering optimizations.
The game's frames per seconds no longer drops as much when rendering the Level Complete Menu.
The music in the credits sequence is now affected by the Audio > Music Volume setting.
Fixed a targeting system bug.
Fixed the Display > Resolution setting only showing a max resolution of 1920x1080 due to a bug. Now resolutions larger than 1080p are available for monitors that support them.

Level 7

Is there something I'm missing here or is level 7 really hard? Like, compared to the earlier levels it feels like a massive difficulty spike, the platforms are tiny and its super easy to slide off. Are you supposed to go like really slowly? Genuinely, there's no lets plays of the game or guides or anything so I have to know if Im really the only one who's having trouble with it...

honestly thought it'd be fun but a little undercooked
I'm ten or so levels in and the level design is grand, soundtrack's quite good, gameplay feels terrific - fast and fluid. Much more of a Titanfall/Doom-y "wallrun and sliding is king" than something like Neon White where the speed is innate.
Highly recommend it. Level select tells me 24 levels, 4 Playlists to choose your OST from.
