..whoever designed this character is a sadist. An ineffective base weapon and a special that drags mobs through you, causing damage. Cool. Great game up to this point, but Vince is just awful.

Its a fun little game, but if someone asked me what i feel is wrong in the first hour i played mobs seem super fast (even with upgraded speed) and they can read your mind, weapon aiming seems random with some items keep it up

It's a design decision that massively narrows down build variety. Damage reduction to some degree can be fine, but in the end having unique and interactive enemy behavior such as movement or projectiles patterns are a more interesting way to balance e.g., short and long range weapons rather than -sorry- lazily slapping resistances on enemies in order to artificially force players in to using specific weapon types.
