"Trimps" is a browser game that's been shoved on Steam for god knows what reason. Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. Anyway this godawfully badly presented HTML game is just a clicker/idler, although it does boast (and I suppose deliver) a rather broad set of activities for this Fischer-Price activity set. Watch the numbers go up! Wow!

I think if you were to play an incrementer/idler (I seriously don't recommend wasting your time), while this fails hard at the "gaming is a visual medium" test, there's some depth in it that makes it marginally better than the rest, but the disgusting cash shop and other aspects of this make it pretty repulsive.

This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises.

On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this.

Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it?

Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Just how long do you have to play this game to get 100%??

Great game, very addictive. Thought I might be bothered by no artwork etc. but apparently not.
