Hello, Mercenaries!

With the start of 2025, Return Alive has begun the year's new updates. Continuing from 2024, we plan to improve the game as a top-down tactical shooter and add more content. Here are some future developments.

1. Title System
The title system will be introduced, providing a greater sense of achievement and more rewards. With the title system, players can cherish how hard they tried in the game content and can display their achievements to other players. The results of season 1 will be updated on February 5th, providing an item that can be exchanged for the title when the title system is released.

2. Best-of-3 system
To help players focus better, matches will now incorporate a best-of-3 system. Players can also swap weapons between rounds, allowing for more tactical gameplay.

3. Introducing 2 Weapon Types
Currently, players can select two weapons to equip without any limitations. Weapons will be broken into 2 types. One weapon slot will be for the offensive weapon type and the other slot for the special weapon type. We hope to bring in-depth gameplay through this change.

4. New events within the battleground
We also plan to create more events within the battleground. Events such as monsters that pop out from stepping into certain areas to pose a threat to players or a mission that pops up to provide additional goals are within our radar in terms of development. Also, we plan to add more consumables so that it gives a different sense of experience for players, adding more layers to the gameplay. We will also attempt to find fun rules and level designs for matches that players can enjoy.

Our goal is to continue the improvements and developments in content to perfect and smooth out the game. We will strive to continue improving systems that are not well received and add newly-themed modes, maps, and various systems.

We are doing our best to provide the best updates possible for mercenaries. The updates will be delivered at the earliest time possible. We hope players look forward to the updates we are preparing and wish a happy and bountiful new year of 2025. We will continue to ardor to provide the best possible experience.
