Hopefully the developer can add more Vietnamese in the upcoming DLC

A little slow moving but I loved the general story, washed out water color graphics and music. The way the plot was crafted kept me engaged and its factual inferences brings back memories of Chinese history. The game would be more interesting if users had the freedom to move the characters over more places and not purposely guided through each step of the way.

This game blew me away. While the Ace Attorney inspirations drip off every facet of this game - from the interrogations to the music - this game nonetheless finds incredible ways to improve upon the formula. I really enjoyed how every chapter had a new mechanic to work with, so the pace never really slowed down. Moreover, the logic behind each mystery is relatively easy to figure out (although the mechanism puzzles in the Britain flashback chapter baffled me). If you're a fan of Ace Attorney, you absolutely have to give this game a play.

One thing that particularly impressed me was the voice acting. Although I could tell that the studio was working with only Chinese individuals, I was impressed by the accent work, both in voices and in text. Jones' actor did an incredible job, in particular, but that's only in comparison to the stellar English voice acting. One thing I would fix, however, is that the transition between cities scenes have a scroll of Chinese characters on the right side of the screen, with no translation for what they say. I would appreciate that to be updated.

This game has become one of my favourites. I perosnally am a big fan of detective-style games and have been a big fan of Ace Attorney. So when I saw this game, I was very excited to play it and needless to say it doesn't disappoint!

One of my favourite mechanics of this game is the historical and medical information that are added as you play. They are extremely useful, especially for me, someone with a very limited knowledge of China's history and culture. The amount of detail and research put into that aspect of the game makes that much enjoyable.

One other thing I absolutely loved is that there isn't one single mechanic you confront the culprits with, every single case there is a different set up and a different way to confront them, it's very refreshing and keeps things fun.

Don't even even get me started on the twists and reveals. One of the major reveals have truely put me in Shen's shoes and I couldn't have loved it more. Basically, if you love detective style games or even just a really good story with alot of historical detail PICK THIS GAME UP!!!!
(also perfect for completionist there is just the right amount of achievements/endings to collect!)

Incredibly well-designed playing mode and great story. I like the story so much. All of the cases are connected to each other in some way, grand storyline design. The characters development are also incredible. Every character are very real though within limited texts. I also like that they introduce historical facts and scientific knowledge. Music is wonderful too. Such a great game.
