An incredible game with amazing story telling and atmosphere. I could not put it down. Truly i want more and want to go deeper. To be honest it has been probably the only single player game in the last decade that has had me so glued to it . 10/10 would recommend

The game was alot of fun i liked how every level looked completly diffrent and swicht between phobias alot (for instants one level switches between Agoraphobia and claustrophobia which i thought was really creativ also playing alot on the fear of the dark in the same level).
it introduced a new mechanic almost every level never making it feel too Repetetive or boring.
BUT even tho i enjoyed 90% of the game the final level and the ending left a sour tast in my mouth.
The whole game i could ignor the jank since there were alot of checkpoints and the game is really more of a calm experience. I had maybe 1 or 2 unfair deaths. But the final level made the jank really oblivious and i died alot without knowing why or in a way i felt was unfair.

For example the only other timed section gave you a checkpoint right befor it starts and it makes it oblivious when youre going to slow.
The Final levels timed section was long and there were few checkpoints and when you reset to a checkpoint time starts befor the blackscreen that blocks you from seeing you teleport back to the checkpoint goes away so you need to start moving befor you can see anything causing alot of unfair losses. It was also hard to know where to go which if you have to go really fast and lossing alot of progress on death can feel unfair.
The game also introduced a new mechanic right befor the final Timed section not really giving you enought time to get really good with the mechanic also (This is a slight spoiler) the level befor removes the climbing axes only to give them back next level and aswell as making them completly useless

(I belive you can switch to a difficulty at any time that turns off difficult and timed sections but i went throught the whole game on standart so i didnt want to switch to an easy difficulty only because the game is extra janky right at the end)

On top of having the final level (In my opinion) be the worsed in the game, The ending left me really unsatisfied and it makes you feel like you've wasted your time playing the game.

To summ up my review the game is really good and well designt accept for the Final level and ending that felt rushed and unsatisfing

I dont normally write reviews but I felt the need to I loved this game so much. The story while vague kept me extremely interested in exploring deeper the whole time. The final sequence was amazing. Such a creative idea and a fun challenge!
