The Room 4 is a point-and-click puzzle game where you tinker with puzzles to reveal hidden compartments and secrets. If you’re familiar with the series and liked the previous games, you’ll enjoy this one as well.

This might be my favourite in the series, though I don't remember much about the first game to make a proper comparison. They improved the layout of the rooms and puzzles in this entry compared to 2 and 3, where I often spent too much time backtracking between rooms. Here, everything is contained within a dollhouse, and rooms are closed off once completed.

The difficulty is balanced well. I played with hints turned off and got stuck a few times, needing help on two or three occasions. That said, I did encounter an issue where I got soft-locked and had to restart the game, though no progress was lost.

Like all "the Room" games from fireproof, simply amazing. Must have for puzzle lovers who love stunning graphics and mechanic puzzles as well.

Well. I was PLANNING on giving The Room a shot and bought only The Room. 2 Days later i have played through all games and can only say one Word: MORE!

I highly recommend this game for people who like to use their brains and inspect every single nook and cranny of all the rooms as soon as they get a new item in their inventory, which is the only downside i have to give. The mechanic is interesting and engaging, but after an hour searching where the damn brass sphere goes: it becomes also frustrating, in a neutral way.

Also, prior experience of the other games is not needed to follow the games lore/understand the puzzles

Great puzzles and the story was fantastic.

really good puzzle game, where i didn't even need help from outside the game, since it has really great hint system :) Definitely recommended!
