Problem with existing save
Hi,

I have created a variation of the standard "Tropical" theme and want to use it on my existing map. I can select it when loading using the "Custom map theme" drop-down, and that works. However, they next day when I continue the game, it no longer has the theme.

Isn't the theme supposed to stick once the game is saved after changing it?

The base theme says "Tropical (Don't change)". Does this affect whether the custom theme sticks? Should I instead select "Tropical" as the base and then my custom one?

Same problem, but with the winter theme.

I noticed you said "continue the game". I think I have a possible solution for you. When it comes to custom themes, turns out we have to always select "load game" instead of "continue game". No idea why that is (doesn't make any sense) but do that and if the popup says "do you want to load a default theme?" just hit okay and it should open with your desired custom theme

Yes, I figured that out too. I select "load game" then choose the most recent save, instead of selecting "continue game". Then it loads with the custom theme (I don't get a popup like you though).

Glad it worked for you! :)

I'd still like the bug fixed though...

Theres no "Winter" option in the theme dropdown, I only see Tropical, Boreal, European and Temperate

I hope it gets fixed for the new patch

Yeah, the problem still exists. At least there is a work-around.

No

No? No what? The problem *does* still exist (for me, at least), and the work-around is to choose "load game" instead of "continue". I also found that I have to select another save first then select the one I want to load.

No doesn't work.

Perhaps you could provide a little more info. No-one is going to help you if all you say is "no, doesn't work"!

As I previously stated "Theres no "Winter" option in the theme dropdown, I only see Tropical, Boreal, European and Temperate"!
