check if you're subscribed, if you are try waiting for it in the "host game" menu,
if neither of those things work try the things mentioned in this thread

We tried the mod today, but Niko's voice sounds were extremely loud. Sounded like a machine gun going off. I know that it's not his final voice, so hopefully it'll get fixed.

that's intentional, i'll see if i can add a config that makes it so anyone can pick it up in the future

When you examine beefalo (when they are sleeping) There is a forward slash '/' at the end of the sentence.

Not sure if it's just the Year of the Varg update, but now, niko's hat is causing games to crash upon startup :< It seems like it's an issue with the hat recipe / configuration

Update: Seems to only be the case if you have it set to 'free hats!'
