Description
Pleased to present my first mod. After playing clan moulder I felt the forces of nature could do with a bit more beast variety.

Screenshots taken using a reshader called Velowar's Preset

Features
Replaces the flying building with a 5 tier animal building.
Unlocks recruitment of 17 animal units.
Level 1

Level 2

Level 3

Level 4

Level 5


Hawk Riders moved to the cavalry building.

Tech & Skills
Who benefits from what
  • All units count as Drycha's monsters (if you're Drycha)
  • All four legged units count as: wildriders, stag knights, general cavalry
  • Hawks: hawk riders, general flying units
  • Griffon: eagles, general flying units
  • Lake dragon: dragons, general flying units
  • The 7 units unlocked at tier 4 & 5 also count as ''elite forest spirits''

Compatibility & Submods
Won't get along with anything that uses the flying chain.

Thank you for this gorgeous mod. Lots of good TWWH2 mods exist, but I consider this one "royalty" in the realm of TWWH2. What makes it rise above most of the rest is a combination of quality, aesthetics, and artistic integrity.

For example, keeping dinosaurs and spiders out. It would clash with what we expect regarding nature elves, not just TWWH2 wood elves, and it would have tarnished the aesthetic. Yes, this mod does get a lot of reflected grandeur from Princess Mononoke and Narnia. But the artist must be disciplined enough to curate that reflection in the first place.

It's weird but when I use this mod, I feel something more than just the next turn in a 4X game. This isn't even the sort of game genre which grants the player a sense of the sublime, but I still feel it. As an artist, you know you created art when your work can elicit a feeling like this in at least somebody.

湖龙 攻防属性护甲血量基本和耀星龙一样,但这货多了15特保,强的可怕:steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:更是全面再也用不上森玲龙这个单位了

I removed the unicorns, pegasi and questing beasts when making the WH3 version. Can't remember ever removing them from this version though

hello! i don't know if you still check the comments but i was wondering why it says in the description that there are 17 units but i only see 14 in my game and even in the .pack file when i open it.

Were some units removed and the description not updated?

Appreciate your effort in this mod, but it severely lacks balance.
I wont recommend anyone who dont play woodelf campaign to subscribe this mod.
