Why Early Access?

“We are launching Dreadzone in Early Access to gather valuable player feedback that will help us improve and refine the game. Post-launch, we aim to address any areas where the game may be lacking, fix any bugs, and enhance the experience by adding more content and smoothing out gameplay before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Dreadzone will be in Early Access for around 3 to 6 months, depending on the content we want to add and the feedback we receive from players. This time will allow us to refine the experience, add more features, and address any issues before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The finished version of Dreadzone is planned to be much more expansive, featuring a wider range of POIs and locations to explore, additional types of zombies, mutants, animals, and NPCs, as well as new systems like farming and taming. Players can expect more resources and items to collect, new player buildables, expanded weapon customization, and deeper progression elements. We also plan to introduce new missions and refine core gameplay mechanics, including improved AI behavior and environmental interactions. Our goal is to deliver a more polished, optimized, and content-rich experience, enhancing exploration, challenges, and overall gameplay.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of Dreadzone offers a solid and enjoyable experience. It features a complete map filled with diverse content to explore, including various creatures, NPCs, and wildlife. Players can access a wide range of weapons, items, and buildable structures, providing plenty of activities and challenges. The game also includes multiplayer support and controller compatibility, making it a comprehensive and engaging survival experience from the start.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, we do not plan to price Dreadzone differently after its full release. The price will remain consistent throughout Early Access and beyond.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be actively engaging with the community through the game's Steam Community Hub, where we’ll monitor feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. Dedicated threads will be available to gather input and discuss improvements. Additionally, we’ll be interacting with players on our Discord server to ensure we’re listening and addressing the community’s ideas and concerns.”
