“Atmosphere is 10/10. The sense of isolation is perfect, and every new discovery adds to the intrigue. Could use a bit more guidance, but the immersive storytelling makes up for it.”

Reviews

“Exit Condition One perfectly demonstrates how virtual reality can transform traditional puzzle-solving into something truly special. It offers one of the most engaging and well-designed escape room experiences available on the Meta Quest platform. Where it truly shines is one of the most flexible and well-thought-out approaches to VR space utilization I've encountered. It’s a game that respects your intelligence while creating a satisfying and memorable VR experience.”

“The puzzles are clever and logical, and each stage is packed with detail. There’s surprising variety to the locations. The game rewards observant and experimental players. Fans of the genre will thoroughly enjoy it.”

About This Game

[Note: roomscale is temporarily disabled on the Steam version. It is fully functional in the Meta Quest standalone version.]

You awaken in a cryogenic storage facility, where a robot refers to you as the curator and alerts you to a security system malfunction. The portal back to civilization is down. Can you outwit security, restore the portal, and escape? You'll need to overcome dozens of puzzling challenges by crafting tools, remote controlling drones, rewiring circuits, climbing, playing Match-3 games, and even dancing! With five distinct levels expanding from a single small room to a cathedral-like boss level, Exit Condition One offers a unique and fully immersive experience.

The game is built from the ground up for roomscale VR on the Quest. Unlike most "roomscale" games, if you have 2m x 3m of space, it will adapt the in-game area to your physical space, allowing full navigation by walking and climbing, no locomotion controls required. The game also supports all locomotion modes. With full physics integration, almost all objects are interactive, and your hands never "ghost out." There are no jump scares.

With the launch, we've added collectibles, achievements, a match-3 based shooting mini-game and a leaderboard for that mini-game.
