Why Early Access?

“We want to launch our 2D beekeeping simulator in Early Access on Steam because the game is still a work in progress, and we believe player feedback is essential to shaping it into the best game possible. Early Access will allow us to collaborate with our community, refine mechanics, add features, and ensure the final game meets players expectations.

We've chosen Early Access for a few reasons:

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game in Early Access from few months to a year depending on the feedback and progression.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to have the full version featuring a more polished gameplay without major bugs. Also we plan to have more maps available for the players to play.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It's in development stage, but can be already be played and gather resources and remove obstacles. Quite a lot from menu does not work yet and sometimes the game can have errors or get stuck.
Menu: Main functions work, but needs more descriptions and content.
Maps: Only 1 map available at this point.
Animations: Main character has most of the animations, but definitely has room for improvement. Also need to add animations to helper characters of the game.
Upgrades: At this point not working yet correctly. This is one of the top thing we are working to fix asap.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Since the full release will be with way more features, mechanics and 3 more maps so it is expected to be also more expensive.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are excited to ask feedback from local gaming community, the beekeepers community and people who like 2D pixelart games.

For example we have already involved real beekeepers in our game development by asking them in real life and also through their social media channels how the game could be more real life accurate and what else to involve in our game. For example the idea to add sugar syrup for bees and also the solar beeswax melter ideas are taken from this feedback.

We plan to regularly release updates and fixes, and we are open to all constructive suggestions and criticisms from gamers and beekeepers.
