Why Early Access?

“Tempest Tower is our first self-published title, and we want to fully embrace an open development style. Involving the community early and making a great game together is something that is very important to us. We hope that you will join us on this journey to build a game that both we and our players love.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Tempest Tower to remain in Early Access for around 9 months. Our current release target is early 2026. Although this is subject to change.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal for the 1.0 version of Tempest Tower is to add more of everything (levels, worlds, turrets, enemies, challenges, etc.). We plan to add quality of life features and polish alongside additional content and game modes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We plan to release Tempest Tower into Early Access in a solid state with all core mechanics present. From there we aim to add new content, modes, and features.
At launch, the game should contain; 1 world theme (that includes multiple levels), a range of enemies, several turrets/buildings, as well as different items and hazards.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price is likely to increase as we add more content to the game. We will always inform the community of price changes in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be collecting feedback via our Discord and the Steam Community Hub. Community feedback and discussions about the game can have a direct impact on the balance, tower/turret designs, and feature priority.”

An ominous dark fog has engulfed the world of Trip Space, unleashing endless hordes of Creepers from the shadows! Only you can stand against the tide. Build powerful contraptions, save cute creatures, and stomp on Creeper heads, whatever it takes to claim Victory.

Tempest Tower redefines Tower Defense with a dynamic blend of classic base-building and electrifying player-driven combat. Explore, plan, and meticulously construct your base during the Build Phase. Execute, adapt, and ruthlessly brawl with hordes of Creepers during the Action Phase. Every level is a thrilling test of strategy and skill.

From lethal turrets that shred enemies at range to trampolines that catapult you across levels, Tempest Tower is packed with crazy contraptions! Personally trigger spike traps to obliterate Creepers en masse, and deploy shield bubbles that bounce damage back at foes, there are countless creative tools available to dominate the battlefield.

Trip Space’s unique flora is your secret weapon! Exploding Bomb-Berries wreak havoc on large clusters of enemies, Bait Bulbs lure Creepers into deadly traps, and Glide Leaves let you soar over vast chasms. Adapt, strategize, and use all the items at your disposal to outwit your enemies.

Forge your path to victory with endless experimentation. Customize your loadout before every level, draft contraptions and upgrades to strengthen your build, strategize with powerful items to create unstoppable combos. Turn hazardous level elements into tools of destruction and continuously refine your tactics. The possibilities are limitless!
