What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Sunfish chose early access to actively engage with the community, listening to feedback, improvement suggestions, and ideas for new additions. This way, we can continually refine the game and provide an ever-better experience for players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately between 1 year and 1 and a half years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the final version, we plan to add more items, characters, weapons, and enemies, as well as implement a new gameplay mechanic. We are also focused on graphical improvements, overall optimization, and the inclusion of additional collectible cards and achievements. Additionally, we want to incorporate valuable ideas suggested by players to ensure the final experience is even richer and more engaging.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current early access version already offers a complete experience. It includes 12 playable characters, 30 distinct weapons, 5 challenging stages, 8 bosses, 30 different types of enemies, and 90 power-ups. These elements provide countless gameplay possibilities, allowing players to explore different strategies and gameplay styles.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As soon as early access is available, I will actively follow opinions, feedback, bug reports, and improvement suggestions shared on Steam and X. I will carefully analyze everything and respond whenever possible, ensuring that the community is heard and participates in the game's development.”

About This Game

Escape the temporal limbo in just one thousand seconds in 1000 Seconds, an action roguelike where time is the most valuable artifact. Use your orb to defend yourself against temporal enemies trying to stop you, upgrade it to gain different effects, and don't forget to collect clocks to buy power-ups in shops. But use this resource wisely, as your inventory is limited.

Orbs

You have a friendly orb that needs upgrading. Use special stones to grant it new powers.

Power-ups

You'll open many chests along the way, but only shop chests can give you power-ups to enhance your orb's performance. Don't forget to collect clocks and keys to open these chests.

Try Again

Losing is part of the game, and with each defeat, you'll grow stronger and wiser to face the next challenge.
