為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Early access makes the most sense for An Other Golf Game at this time. Simply because not all the planned features are in the game yet. I am deeply passionate about developing this game and dedicated to gathering player feedback to continuously improve it. My commitment extends not just to completing the game but also to supporting and enhancing it well into the future.」

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久？

「The goal date for full release is December 2026, but I want to make sure all planned features are there and working well before considering it complete.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「During the Early Access phase, I plan to add the remaining features detailed on the store page, address any bugs that come to light, and balance some of the games features. The major features not yet included in Early Access is the golf Tournament, and Caddy job. There are also more NPCs, Vehicles, and Jobs that will be added during this stage of the games development. You can also look at the feature list on the store page for this information.

After the full release, I will remain dedicated to maintaining the core game. Additionally, I have several features that, while beyond the original scope, I am eager to implement through regular updates, continually enriching the game experience.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The game is quite playable in its current state. The life sim part is very complete. You can play a full round of golf end to end. Drive around and explore the entire world. Interact with some people. Buy food, golf items. Do different jobs. Etc. ~70% of the features are in the game. There will surely be some gamebreaking or frustrating unexpected gameplay. Check out the description page for more details.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「The game will be lower when it's in Early Access. Whenever it moves out of the Early Access space, expect the price to be 10-50% higher. The goal is to provide a completely unique golf game experience for a smaller cost.」

「I am very happy and eager to take feedback and suggestions and especially any bug reports. Please consider joining the discord to report any issues. I will actively monitoring that.

Much of the gameplay and roadmap are defined, but I will always consider ideas that are in line with the end vision.」

Warning: This is probably the hardest golf video game you will ever attempt to play.

An Other Golf Game is not your typical openish world sandbox life-sim survival golf game experience featuring permadeath. You'll learn the art of golf on your own terms: picking clubs, assessing the wind, and, of course, tracking down that stray ball no matter where it lands. It’s a game for those who want to discover, adapt, and make every inch of progress on their own.

Beyond the golf course, life goes on—literally. You're living out entire days, where golfing may or may not be part of it, it's entirely up to you. You’ll have to keep yourself alive, managing food, water, and sleep while earning enough cash through odd jobs to keep your golfing dream alive.

It’s a game that tests patience, resourcefulness, and adaptability. If you’re willing to roll with the quirks, laugh off the Early Access growing pains, you might just discover an experience that’s both unexpectedly rewarding and thoroughly unconventional.

This is my first game. I am making it by myself. Everything needs polishing. I promise you will die relentlessly to bad physics and weird bugs, lose multiple clubs in the ground and even have your car door kill you. You may never even find the golf course, I am sure many of you will quit before you spend the time to find it. This is as much a puzzle, as it is a life sim, as it is a golf game.

WARNING: RIGHT HAND PERSPECTIVE ONLY. The player is actually left handed, and they learned to golf right handed. That said, if you're left handed, sorry. But, actually, technically you will be getting the full experience, so, I guess it is a... you're welcome.

I am excited to continue the work on this project to make the entire experience more refined and of course add the missing features some of which are detailed above. Thanks for your patience. I also expect early access to quickly shine light on any potential bugs that have gone unnoticed in the playtests, please consider joining the discord to report any issues you experience. I will try to address things in a timely manner. <3
