Why Early Access?

While the game will launch in Early Access, it will feature a complete story, allowing players a rich and immersive narrative from the start.

Future updates will focus on refining mechanics, polishing content, and integrating community feedback to further enhance the depth and enjoyment of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Grifford Academy to be in Early Access development for approximately three to six months. Given the nature of Early Access development, we don’t have a specific end date planned at this time but will keep our community updated through Steam and Discord updates.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Grifford Academy will include all planned content, allowing players to experience the full story and core gameplay. During this period, we’ll focus on refining the game by addressing bugs and improving balance, enhancing mechanics, polish, and fine-tuning the overall experience. We may choose to test the viability of ideas arising from player feedback, but this will be strictly for cases where we believe the players’ experience will be greatly improved.

Our goal is for the 1.0 release to be as polished, engaging and immersive as possible.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We’ve worked hard to ensure the Early Access version of Grifford Academy offers a complete story experience with a satisfying amount of content.

During Early Access players may encounter bugs, balancing issues or areas that require additional polish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are planning on a discounted price during Early Access that will then increase once the game hits it’s 1.0 release. If you purchase during Early Access, you can rest easy knowing you will not need to make an additional purchase at 1.0’s release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’re committed to making Grifford Academy the best coming-of-age RPG it can be, and that means working closely with our community throughout development. We will be actively monitoring feedback as we continue building and improving on every aspect of the game, implementing it where we believe it makes sense.

Our official Discord server is the best place for fluid, direct, and ongoing conversations with the development team and other players. Alternatively, we also welcome feedback on our Steam forums, where we’ll be actively gathering player insights and responding to community suggestions.

As development progresses, we plan to share regular updates, insights and patch notes detailing changes inspired by community feedback. These will be available through both Discord and Steam.
