The village where your character was born, which was destroyed in the prologue, can also be gradually rebuilt. Beast Saga features a true 24-hour day-night cycle, where the changing times of day significantly affect gameplay. For example, during the night, locations like inns and banks close, and you'll no longer be able to find shopkeepers to buy goods. However, you can use life skills like lockpicking to sneak into places if needed. Certain creatures, like specific types of insects, only appear during certain times of day. Most NPCs are active during the day, while those involved with the underworld might only be found at night. Additionally, some story events and quests can only be triggered during specific times, allowing players to experience different gameplay and narrative outcomes depending on the time of day.
