„Listening to player feedback and iterating with them to continuously improve the game is at the core of our studio’s DNA. Before the Early Access launch, we already playtested Skygard Arena with numerous community playtests, a closed Alpha, an open Beta and a free demo. Early Access is the logical next step for us to keep improving the game!“

„Currently, we are planning for about a year of Early Access in order to collect as much feedback as possible, have enough time for our team to integrate it, and deliver the additional content we have in mind. However, this duration is not set in stone, as we wish to give us some leeway to work with the feedback of the community and adjust the game as more and more people play it.“

„The full version is planned to include additional chapters of the Campaign, more playable Champions, with their own Personas and Artifacts, and additional features such as various difficulty modes. We are looking to release the first major update this winter and to keep a seasonal pace afterwards until 1.0.“

„The game already includes 9 playable Champions with their own Persona and Artifacts. You can play two different game modes: (i) the Campaign mode with the first 3 chapters (15 unique missions), and (ii) the Arena mode with 4 different maps, where you can play 20-minute matches in PvP through online matchmaking, against a friend, or solo against an AI.“

„We are expecting to raise the price of the game when 1.0 launches as it will have more content and features available. Those who buy the game in Early Access will keep it and enjoy all the updates for free. We will make an announcement in advance of the price change.“

„Any player can share their feedback, ask questions, suggest new features or report issues they have. Players can join our official Discord from the game’s start screen and share their feedback with us in the dedicated channels. They can also share their suggestions or report issues here in Steam discussion forums, which we monitor as well. We’re expecting to update the game depending on the feedback we’re getting, if we consider it is relevant and goes in the direction we have for the game. We’re also monitoring players data as they play the game, which can help to give direction to balance the game. When appropriate, we plan on explaining to players how their feedback is helping shape the updates we’ll be rolling.“

Skygard Arena is a turn-based tactics game in which you lead your team of Champions to victory in arena-scale skirmishes.

  • A colorful roster of unique Champions - Choose among 9 Champions to play with, each with their own playstyle and unique abilities. New Champions are planned to be released throughout Early Access!

  • Combine multiple actions on every turn - Choose how to best use your primary, secondary, and ultimate skills to play the most impactful turns.

  • Find the perfect angle - Positioning your Champions is key to use your abilities optimally. Spend your movement action, use dash skills and teleport between two Pillars under your control to find the perfect angle.

  • Assemble a team that fits your playstyle - Combine 3 Champions, choose their Persona and equip them with Artifacts to create a unique team among thousands of possibilities.

  • 1 Champion, 2 Personas - Each Champion can embody two different Personas, alternate versions with their own appearance, gameplay and skillset. Choose wisely which Persona to bring for each Champion and create team synergies.

  • Equipment that matters - Experiment with 72 unique Artifacts that grant unique passive effects to your Champions.

  • Save Skygard -  Follow the five Factions of Skygard in epic encounters for the future of their world. The Tournament of the Ancient starts, and several forces clash to obtain a mysterious crown… The first 3 chapters, which include 15+ missions, are already available, with more to come in future updates.

  • Each mission is a unique challenge - Large-scale battles, skirmishes to capture objectives, infiltration missions, tower-defense challenges, boss fights... each mission offers a unique tactical experience, built specifically for solo play.

  • Learn more about the Champions - Discover the Champions of Skygard, their backstory, and what’s at stake for them.

  • 20-minute intense duels  - Bring your best team to the Arena and nail every turn to outsmart your opponent.

  • Choose your path to victory - Eliminate Champions and capture Pillars to gather victory points, or risk it all with an assault on your opponent’s Main Pillar for an immediate win!

  • Casual or competitive - Fight against your friends online in friendly matches, or climb the ranks in online matchmaking to prove your mastery!

  • A fair PvP experience - With progression systems split between Campaign and Arena, and no RNG for status conditions, critical hits or hit chances, we have created a level playing field for your strategist skills to shine.

  • Battle an AI inspired by chess engines - Test your strategies against an AI which plans its moves several turns in advance. Choose among 4 difficulty levels, with the last level featuring teams built by us for the most challenging experience!
