“I’m launching Mystal Haven in Early Access because I want to involve the players in shaping the game. As an indie developer, Early Access gives me the chance to gather feedback, refine gameplay, and add features to make Mystal Haven the best it can be.”

“I plan to keep Mystal Haven in Early Access for about a year. This will give me enough time to fine-tune the gameplay, add new content, and make sure everything is polished for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Mystal Haven is planned to include more ways to interact with your creatures, expanded options for battling other players, and a more polished overall experience. I also aim to improve visuals, balance creature abilities, and introduce quality-of-life updates. Player feedback during Early Access will play a key role in shaping these potential improvements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now, the Early Access version is fully playable. You can play online or in local split-screen multiplayer, explore the open world, and collect all 51 unique creatures, each with 8 elemental variants, for a total of 408 possibilities. While the core gameplay is in place, there’s still plenty of room to refine features, add content, and improve the overall experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price of Mystal Haven will stay the same during and after Early Access. I want to make sure early supporters feel appreciated and that the game remains affordable for everyone.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I’ll be using forums to stay connected with the community. This is where you can share your thoughts, report bugs, and suggest new ideas. Your feedback will help me decide what to focus on next and make Mystal Haven a game you’ll love. I’ll also keep you updated regularly so you know what’s happening with development.”

Mystal Haven is a laid-back, open-world creature-collecting game with 4-player split-screen and online multiplayer.

Whether you choose to team up with other players or play alone, you'll collect powerful elemental creatures and explore a new world filled with diverse biomes.

Key Features:

  • Multiplayer: Supports both local 4-player split-screen and online multiplayer.

  • Creature Collecting: Unlock new creature types as you progress, and raise them into more powerful adult versions.
