Miksi Early Access?

City of Springs has been in development for several years now by The Naked Dev & Alterego Games. We're very proud of the results but we believe it is not "there" yet. Early access allows for the game to be shaped and polished over the next year with community feedback and suggestions to help make it the best it can be.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The Naked Dev is going to improve on the game for at least a year, maybe two.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The final release is planned to feature a lot of quality-of-life changes, more quests, smoother gameplay, massive visual upgrades, better performance, added language localisations and a massively improved atmosphere.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current version of the game in Early Access features the whole game in "Minimal Viable Product" stage, containing everything described in the "About this" section.

It is stable, has 8-20 hours of gameplay consisting out of 32 main quests and 43 sidequests and it tells the full story of the main protagonist.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Currently there are no concrete plans for any price changes.

City of Springs is being released in Early Access with the goal of including you, the community, to become a part of the story.

During the Early Access process, I will create weekly devvlogs on Youtube about the process and progression of City of Springs, keeping you up-to-date on everything regarding the game.

The city of Riveton has only one hope for freedom - you.

Play as Val, a brilliant mechanic from the slums who won’t stand for the injustices she witnesses daily. While the Queen’s chosen elite flaunt their wealth, ordinary people work night and day to keep the springwork foundries running - all while the ministries breathe down their necks. Every aspect of life in Riveton is regulated, and your rations will be cut if you so much as think about protesting.

Despite this, there is beauty in this last city on earth. People try to make the most of life even while facing resource shortages and the oppression of the Queen’s regime. Val is determined to help them.

City of Springs - Features

Craft and assemble robot drones to fight off a cruel regime in City of Springs. Sneak into forbidden areas, help the people rebel, and explore the streets of Riveton. Combat robotic guards with little drones you build from the scrap you find on the street. Help the populace in a time where food and water are scarce, and seek a smarter way to live.

Fight fire with fire, and fix what’s broken in this oppressed clockwork city.
