There needs to be the ability to shut off a grav ring.
Super Brasilis 19. juli 2021 kl. 10.00
Graviton is the necessary metal material to craft hovers, so if we get this we can craft hoverboards, and rocketboots and alot of other things from Tartary that existed for real because they were reseted.

Love it. Have a penguin. :SBpenguin:
Capt. Alex 9. nov. 2020 kl. 4.01
ok so, the issue is these things just don't work with dedicated servers
Capt. Alex 7. nov. 2020 kl. 7.47
so, i have an issue. i had the graviton shafts on my ship, and now they are gone.i saved the game, and then they dissappeared when i loaded up the game today.
Capt. Alex 6. nov. 2020 kl. 17.27
i think i need a manual for how the wiring works on the grav shafts. cause i'm trying to set up a button system, one to go up and one to go down.

Sadly seems grav shaft controllers insta crash the game when placed on planets grav rings fail to turn off in anyway shape or form to bad because this was a great mod :[
makoaluveaux 28. des. 2018 kl. 20.33
Yeah this mod breaks as soon as one of the rings changes to down while the others are going up, also the lower wire point does NOTHING for the rings, it doesnt turn them off or on at all.

Really like the idea of this mood but I'm having issues getting it to work properly. Shame the upward momentum changed with gravrings. Works OK in an a->b setup but not for multiple floors.

The gravshafts are acting funny about synching with gravshafts and controls above themselves in a series. When activated downwards, all linked shafts light up green and work but activating upwards only works the current section and below. The shaft above the next control up does not light up green like the bottom does.

The shaft control parts have so many wire nodes I'm not sure where to be on testing them hahaha Can't seem to find any info by googling. Any help would be appreciated. Was just using platform shafts but a working elevator would be pretty sweet. Thanx.

One should toggle the direction, the other turn the gravring on or off, which might be of use in creating stops. Unfortunately these do not work so well in space stations.
endertrot 25. apr. 2018 kl. 17.06
Can I ask what the wiring pins on the gravrings do? As far as I can tell, the upper input toggles the direction when it recieves a high signal, but I have no idea what the lower input or output does. Also, is there any way to create stops in a graviton elevator?

Hey, could you make a standalone mod for the Grav Manipulator? I'm sorry to say, but I don't really want to install everything else along with it. 😕
KolincaRN 25. nov. 2017 kl. 7.52
I'm not sure how graviton rails work, could you please explain better?

Also, I am planning a base in which things are accelerated automatically, like panels/doors placed that accelerate me in a given position given that they're powered on ( like pressure tubes, so to say), any suggestions on how to make such thing?
NerdCuddles 21. nov. 2017 kl. 14.17
can you add a gravity feild? for things like asteroid bases?
Slurmpyはい 17. nov. 2017 kl. 9.57
Um dude i might be stupid but. when i try to use the gravitron manipulator it does nothing i tried every but nothing. i even tried in the space station. nothing
Storm_UK  [skaper] 18. sep. 2017 kl. 10.03
You should find them on the Graviton table, under All or the Other (?) tab.
Comm Agzil Mellah 17. sep. 2017 kl. 17.29
i cant seem to find the forcefield door?
Storm_UK  [skaper] 12. aug. 2017 kl. 3.20
It seems that somewhere into 1.3 there was a change to the physicsForces applied by objects. They used to slow down the Y velocity if an entity was moving faster upward. This still seems to be working when falling (the last pad/ring at the bottom) but the top ring no longer does so. I'm trying to find a workaround at present.
Cigg 8. aug. 2017 kl. 5.18
Could we possibly get the inclusion of neutral grav rings? To be placed on top of a chain, which would be helpful.

I really wanted to use the gravshaft but I have an even-spaced rising tower and the rails are 5 blocks wide so im left helpless.

The graviton elevator does work, however at the top of the chain it just blasts me up so much and my character hits the roof; which isn't very ideal.

Is there something I'm missing?
Storm_UK  [skaper] 31. juli 2017 kl. 14.03
@CaptainKyros: Possibly, though the alterable gravity of space stations / pocket worlds is an issue with the physics forces applied from objects, which are set when an object is placed or reloaded with the world. I'll have to make some experiments for a solution.

@Lemon Tart™: Didn't seem to be any issue with the grav manipulator here, even before my recent update.
Lemon Tart 31. juli 2017 kl. 6.36
The graviton manipulator seems to have stopped functioning in any way recently, same as with quite a few other mods apparently. I dunno if there's been a patch or something that caused this, or if it's just me.
The Moonlight System 26. juli 2017 kl. 8.29
can you make Fun With Gravitons compatible with the Pocket Worlds mod?
Storm_UK  [skaper] 9. juli 2017 kl. 14.24
Gravpads/rings should be communicating properly again.
Storm_UK  [skaper] 9. juli 2017 kl. 13.28
Hmm, gravpads/rings auto-communication indeed seem to have broke. Trying to resolve.
wiseman 9. juli 2017 kl. 13.00
My rings seem to have broken today, signal is no longer communicating to other rings?
p6kocka 2. juli 2017 kl. 9.30
Is it possible to add to the gaviton rings particles showing which way (up or down) is the gravitation flowing?
Storm_UK  [skaper] 14. juni 2017 kl. 2.46
Thanks!
Veles 13. juni 2017 kl. 5.45
You know what? I couldn't reproduce it anywhere but on said planet either. (FYI it was on FU super dense ocean whatsoever.) I'll just disregard this planet as corrupted. Feel totally ashamed of wasting your time. You've been a great help, thank you. Love your mod ^^
Storm_UK  [skaper] 13. juni 2017 kl. 2.55
@Veles Not been able to duplicate the error this side. The pastebin suggests that the object is trying to set an incorrect metabound box. Does this happen wherever you try to place the gravshaft/rail in any map?
Veles 12. juni 2017 kl. 16.03
Sure thing. Silly me not doing it in the first place. here you go - https://pastebin.com/iYPZpTP4
Thank you for you help =)
Awesome mod, btw :steamhappy:
Storm_UK  [skaper] 12. juni 2017 kl. 15.26
@Veles Not sure whats causing that. Could you link a pastebin of your starbound.log file after such a crash please?
Veles 12. juni 2017 kl. 14.47
Hello. Came back to 1.3 and discovered game crashes when trying to place gravrings/shafts. Worked fine with same mods before 1.3 - http://i.imgur.com/UIbZ8gs.jpg
Storm_UK  [skaper] 9. juni 2017 kl. 3.33
Hmm, indeed seems some problems with the signal changing on the grav rings. Will investigate.
EvilChaosKnight 8. juni 2017 kl. 14.02
I think I found one. Grav wings above don't receive direction change command from the rings below. Rings below, however, receive commands from rings above just fine as well as rings right over grav pad also change their direction as they should.
Tested on 1N, 3N and 5S.
Storm_UK  [skaper] 8. juni 2017 kl. 10.13
@Otacon I don't believe any changes are necessary for this mod for Starbounds 1.3 release. If anyone notices any bugs surface because of it, please let me know. :)
Ponteiro ☆ 8. juni 2017 kl. 9.40
is it ok with 1.3?
Storm_UK  [skaper] 8. juni 2017 kl. 2.55
Yes the gravshaft rails and controls require background tiles to lay.
Xebov 7. juni 2017 kl. 14.14
I found the issue to be a lack of background.
Xebov 7. juni 2017 kl. 8.31
Is there a reason why grav shafts and their controls dont fit into the 5x2 holes from space ships but fit into normal 5x2 holes? I find that a bit suprising.

hello, its a great mod but i want to khow the tiles each type of graviton pad does it comsume to make a felin villager,if u be so kind of telling me c:
Storm_UK  [skaper] 17. apr. 2017 kl. 8.22
@Doggo: Yep thats an easy fix and indeed looks to be a small error on my part - the gravshaft control platform state shouldn't change if the platform input node is connected, rather than the on/off input node.
snerble 17. apr. 2017 kl. 7.44
There is an input that can toggle the platform on the graviton shaft control unit, but even when it's activated, any input that changes direction can still retract the platform. This can only be stopped if the there is a switch turning the shaft control units on at all times, but even then, every time i leave the world or game, the platform retracts again. I keep having to rewire everything to get the platforms to stay active. Hoping for a fix maybe?

(All that needs to happen is that the platform can be toggled on or off without interferance of other inputs)
Storm_UK  [skaper] 15. apr. 2017 kl. 9.11
@Darkxame: They were bugged it seems, though now fixed! Interacting should cycle their setting, unless you connect their On/Off input. Their three inputs are Left, On/Off and Right. When receiving a new high signal to either Left or Right, they change connected rail states to that direction.
Ambigatos 15. apr. 2017 kl. 5.58
Hi, i'd like to use this mod, but i don't know how to switch the direction of the Gravrail Control Unit
Storm_UK  [skaper] 1. apr. 2017 kl. 12.31
No problem. Thanks :)
Kizzycocoa 1. apr. 2017 kl. 12.30
@Storm_UK Nice! very quick fix. thanks! Loving the mod so far! :happymeat:
Storm_UK  [skaper] 1. apr. 2017 kl. 12.20
@Kizzycocoa hmm it should be available from the graviton table but you're correct. I'll investigate and update asap with fix.
