Definitely a unique effect, but the alternate green and purple colors of a bit offputting. I do enjoy the standard orange flame.

Yeah, that's why I'm making the point you should do more to make it look like an effect and not actual arrows.

Arrows don't shatter when hitting the ground.

The arrows look a bit too much like actual arrows and not an effect imo. Would probably look better if the shaft and feathers were dimly lit as well instead of being black, and the way they just hit the ground and freeze looks like they've been dropped from above the character's head rather than falling at a more significant height which would make sense for an arrow rain. Making them shatter when hitting the ground would be pretty neat.
