so, im pretty stupid ngl (brain is confuzzled) will this allow me to unlock vanilla achievos that carry over to vanilla terraria? It always urks me if I fight a vanlilla boss I havent fought yet and dont get the achievo for it. or is this just ingame gui achievo's ?

Also if subscribing does not work, then it's STEAM issue not this mod.

@Lion8cake You can't modify vanilla achievements using this mod, but I might be able to add it if you want.

is there any way to edit existing achievement obtainment methods? Say i want to remove the Hot Reels achievement to be obtained in certain conditions, am i able to do that easily through this mod?

Nevermind, I got it working. Had the wrong mod calling lmao.

Wait... so if I wanted to make it give me an achievement when I consume a Stamina Crystal from my mod, I'd put this exact line:
Mod.Call("Event", "UseStaminaCrystal");
in UseItem for the Stamina Crystal, right? But then do I need a second mod call in PostSetupContent? Tried just the single one and it doesn't work. Doesn't even show up in the list of achievements.

@blahblahbal When you consume the item use Mod.Call("Event", "ExampleEvent"); to trigger the custom event condition.

I don't understand how I'm supposed to do a custom event; do I need 2 mod calls? Trying to do one where it's completed when I consume an item, can't figure it out.

Is it supposed to reset your achievements you already unlocked prior to installing the mod?

yeah i did but it never worked but i ended up just copy pasting the command from here and it worked so it was operator error lol

You can't get achievements for normal Terraria because you're playing tmodloader. Not Terraria.

As much as I understand it not unlocking steam achievements due to cheats but... you can kinda already do that just by uploading a world file to vanilla terraria. Personally the only reason I care is because I basically exclusively play modded

Achievements work, but I'm not sure if they get activated on steam as well, I don't feel like cheating to test and I've unlocked the basic ones. Anyone has checked if steam recognizes them too?
