Blue glow for Mana Crystals?

Heyo! Loved this mod and been using it for a good while, really gives a power feeling to the crystals. I do have a tiny suggestion to make aswell, may the new Mana Crystals glow aswell? Yknow for consistency sake? I saw them and this mod popped into my head. It would look very nice in builds too! If you happen to see this Id be very appreciative! Great little mod!

as a fix for multiplayer, may I suggest for the custom enable/disable options to automatically turn themselves off and then back on after the server has loaded? it works when I play on a server run on cmd, but I have to do it manually every time I load in

since people like to call Life Crystals "Heart Crystal" why dont they call it Heart Fruit and Star Crystal?

The mod is updated for 1.4.4 now. If anyone runs into issues, be sure to comment them here.

Some notes:
- Multiplayer bug where lights sometimes don't work still isn't fixed yet, I'm still investigating that (assuming it still happens in 1.4.4).
- Life fruits now glow yellow instead of green, to help distinguish them from jungle spores (and also since they naturally glow that color, according to what people have said in the past).

As far as I can tell, forcing the mod to load through the development menu works fine in 1.4.4
(do not try this if you are inexperienced) I don't think you would need to make many changes to update it.

Most likely yes. I haven't been following the tModLoader scene for months, so I'll have to get accustomed to Terraria modding again, plus figuring out whatever 1.4.4 porting I may have to do (though this mod is fairly simple so I'm expecting it should be easy to port).

It should work fine with any mod, unless you happen to have a mod that also enables lighting for heart crystals & life fruits. In which case, it'll just use lighting from one mod or the other--it shouldn't cause any major issues.

just a heads up for multiplayer: doesn't seem to work on world load, but after entering the world, disabling the glow settings, saving, and then enabling them again seems to fix the issue

little known fact this used to be in the game, in ancient times past, also its not that op and its wierd relogic removed this so im adding this to ma playthrough :P

Yeah I agree on the jungle spores, I've noticed in my playtests I'll sometimes see green light just off-screen and I won't know if it's jungle spores or a life fruit until I get closer to it.

I'll see if I can fix the multiplayer bug, but I'm still new to Terraria modding so I can't guarantee I'll find the root cause of the issue.

I agree life fruits should glow yellow since the part that emits light is the fruit itself which is yellow. It would also make it easier to see especially among the jungle spores.

This is like how spelunker potions used to make them look

It seems to be inconsistent in Multiplayer, some of them glow some of them don't.

Definitely makes sense for life fruit. It seems needless to me that they are so annoying to find so late in progression. You tend to have the tools to locate them by that point, but triangulating their exact position and then accidentally breaking it and spending even more time trying to figure out where it *used* to be is just unnecessary horror. Might have to try this :)

I can already tell that this is gonna be so useful for me, just one gripe tho.

From the picture up top it looks like the life fruit is glowing either white or green, but since the green part of the life fruit is just the plant it grows from, shouldn't the glow be yellow?

Its not really a problem, its just triggering my OCD.
