I guess it's the intersection lane connection function of TMPE that conflicts with it, as when I load a save file that does not use this function, the save can be loaded normally. The current version of the game is 1.81-f3, and I recommend not using this problematic module right now, although it is certainly useful.

i recommend either trying not to build any roads branching off of a straight at angles below what the vanilla game allows, or deactivating this mod entirely
Jokes aside, this is a good mod.
If you do 6-lane arterial and then 2 T-junctions, one to right and then later one to left with 4-lane road, this would mean both leftmost and rightmost lanes won't be used for straight going traffic in vanilla mode. However, with this mod, the lanes are correctly allocated for turning and connection to all lanes going forward are ensured.
the options are:
-Default
-Legacy
but in legacy says "more turning lanes".
So, legacy is the option to choose for this mod to work??
The "How to use" above does not say anything about or it's my poor english
Either way, thanks for responding that fast and providing such a great mod. I do like to do a bit of lane management by lane mathematics here and there but the micromanagement coming with TM:PE is just too much for me, also I try to avoid using mods that would break save games. But the vanilla logics suck so your mod is the perfect middle ground.
I just like it if the have a dedicated line to arrive on. That whole highway exit is not very effective but often used where I live so it's pretty realistic for me.
The next section they reach is not a highway exit but a toll booth that I haven't bothered to upgrade yet to more lanes, a little jam in front of it makes it look more realistic too
Although in the 2nd pic it also looks like the middle lane is preferred a bit I wouldn't worry about this, since forcing the 3 lane highway into a 2 way queue on the toll booth is a bit nasty anyway.

Now, here's the thing. This can happen just because of how the on-ramp is designed. With anarchy, obviously you can override the game's minimum angle limitation and end up in this situation. I certainly have in the past, and never knew what was causing it. HOWEVER...
I had multiple cities failing with this problem recently and the only variable was this mod. So I turned it off, and the traffic completely cleared after a few minutes. So is it possible that ILC is forcing highway traffic to reinterpret the on-ramps as straight arrows?
before I mended my BRT lanes with TM:PE

after I mended my BRT lanes with TM:PE
When I inspect BRT junctions with TM:PE I saw median bus lane has *no direction marks* so some of my bus route is laid a bit weirdly. So I suggest you that modifying this mod to set direction marks of median bus lane to direct all directions, not to direct no directions.
