Wieso funktioniert der Drill nicht auf dem Alien Planeten?
xyx0826  [Autor] 7. Okt. 2023 um 0:18
Unsure! It's been a couple years since I last played SE.
Nep-Nep 13. Sep. 2023 um 0:18
Does this still work?
Dziwo 12. Feb. 2021 um 7:45
This worked perfectly for me. Something recent may have stabilised it again
General Jame Macheal 25. Nov. 2019 um 8:08
also you gotta have the refinerys directly connected to it for it to gain gravel, apperantly the connectors wont work through cargo containers
General Jame Macheal 25. Nov. 2019 um 7:56
the mod does work but the error people getting is it must be connected to a cargo container and than have a ton of power to keep it active
jackik 16. Nov. 2019 um 8:40
It needs to be submerged in voxels to at least a little bit, is that the case? Have you tried testing it somewhere else?
horymarten 16. Nov. 2019 um 2:03
Howdy somehow I have a problem I can not work on Mars, does anyone know why ???
xyx0826  [Autor] 8. Nov. 2019 um 12:48
Just loaded the mod into Visual Studio again - several references are broken and I guess that's why it doesn't work anymore. Sadly I have no clue where to fix them and I have updated the description.
Enrico9431 8. Nov. 2019 um 6:35
Tried to run the original one and that crashed my game aswell sadly enough.
xyx0826  [Autor] 7. Nov. 2019 um 12:17
Ahh yes I copied the wrong link. Should be:
http://steamoss.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=758796524
Enrico9431 7. Nov. 2019 um 6:35
I can understand.
Do you mean with the vanilla version the one you forked this from because the link goes to your own.
xyx0826  [Autor] 6. Nov. 2019 um 21:18
Enrico9431 I'm sorry but I've been away from SE for quite some time and it's unlikely that I can update it to work with the latest API. Might want to check if the vanilla version (https://steamoss.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1091728522&tscn=1573055531) still works.
Enrico9431 6. Nov. 2019 um 7:52
Please fix this mod it works really nice with the gravel manick mod
NoT_Exist 3. Nov. 2019 um 12:34
Mod work for me, use him right now
WariousGaming 17. Sep. 2019 um 14:21
Mod is not working anymore, not generating stone :( and as mod author stated he does not going to be updating mod with fixed code - MOD ABADDNED
xyx0826  [Autor] 23. Aug. 2019 um 2:59
I've been away from SE and this mod for quite a while. I'm sure the API has a few breaking changes, but unfortunately I probably won't have time to go back and fix the code. Sorry :/
Canis Artorus 23. Aug. 2019 um 1:03
It appears this mod is breaking worlds in 1.192 (Economy) today.
Anyone have contrary experience?
Radu 13. Apr. 2019 um 11:23
how can i put ingot to gravel on auto/repetitive (break all the ingots that gets in inventory without pushing the button all the time)?
Tonatsi 5. Jan. 2019 um 8:47
just buid a 5 tall by 3 wide set of blocks sticking out of the ground, then build the platform off of that. you can then build the conveyors to the platform, and then get rid of the 5 by 3 slab of blocks.
Tonatsi 5. Jan. 2019 um 8:46
My advice is to build it in the ground first and then route the conveyors to the platform, since the way the game works, you can't change the placement block, In-game at least.
SilentGarud 5. Jan. 2019 um 3:14
Is it possibe to attach the platform to an existing station via conveyors. I have tried but I am unable to attach the middle access point on its side to my conveyor. Its always snapping to one of the bottom ones.
Tonatsi 17. Nov. 2018 um 9:12
One that only works on stations/ is immobile
jackik 17. Nov. 2018 um 7:24
what is a "fixed one" supposed to mean? All blocks in SE are "fixed" to a grid. When using rotors you need to pay attention to the design a lot more than if you were to just slap them to a ship. Hydrogen Ramscoops create drag, which you need to counter properly, which isn't always that easy to deal with with rotors. If anything touches the fast spining contraption, everything clangs!
Tonatsi 17. Nov. 2018 um 5:32
that would bypass the point of having a fixed one in the first place
jackik 16. Nov. 2018 um 16:50
Why though? it's fine the way those works.
Tonatsi 14. Nov. 2018 um 11:39
Or perhaps have them stop working when the platform is seen as turning for say 3 or more seconds as 'the change in momentum disrupts the fragile linear compression mechanism and forces the device to shut down until linear momentum is restored to prevent damage to the device'
Tonatsi 14. Nov. 2018 um 11:36
Maybe make them not function when attatched to a Sub-Grid?
jackik 14. Nov. 2018 um 9:57
You could build a huge rotating base just for resource collection, which is what i do with hydrogen ramscoops anyway :D.
Tonatsi 14. Nov. 2018 um 5:58
Adding onto the space dust collector, how about a space dust ramscoop?
In order for the machine to work, it must be moving in a certain direction to gather dust. Due to the way this device functions, there is no laser to destabilise the electrical flow in other machines, and therefore one would be able to have multiple of these devices on one ship.
Anubis 13. Nov. 2018 um 13:36
it isn't really pointless if your playing empty world with no astroids around a mobile base.
xyx0826  [Autor] 13. Nov. 2018 um 11:37
There can be one, but it can be some kind of "space dust collector" that has chutes facing out from the ship and produce ores at a slow rate.
Arcturus 13. Nov. 2018 um 11:16
On-the-go infinite resources without resorting to creative mode? In fairness, I can sort of see the appeal, but it also sounds beyond pointless.
Tonatsi 13. Nov. 2018 um 11:05
No, the whole point of this platform is that it is an immobile platform.
Besides, what would you do with a mobile platform?
Anubis 13. Nov. 2018 um 9:59
at the risk of sounding petty, any chance you could make a mobile version of this?
xyx0826  [Autor] 12. Nov. 2018 um 21:11
Actually I'd wish to add more features to this mod but I've not touched SE for over a year.
Also SE lacks decent mod debugging support; there was once a mod debugger plugin but it doesn't work anymore.
Arcturus 12. Nov. 2018 um 14:23
@Kane Hart
Real question is, why would it need to be touched? As far as I can tell, the mod works fine as is.
YouTube.com/StoneLegion 26. Okt. 2018 um 17:36
Looks like a sweet mod. It's too bad it has not been touched for over a year.
jackik 26. Sep. 2018 um 9:12
direct quote "Also, the platform will not start working if another one is within 200m range."
Tonatsi 25. Sep. 2018 um 9:16
It's designed not to work when there are 2 platforms within 100/200 meters of each other (I can't remember which of the two distances) for balance reasons.
alexcorde30 24. Sep. 2018 um 23:59
No, that's ok...I mean, it worked, when I put only 1 platform, with a grreat amount of energy. If I put a second platform, the first stoped, the second doesn't start, and when I delete the last platform, the first one don't start again...strange...but at least, It work ! thank you guys !
xyx0826  [Autor] 21. Sep. 2018 um 9:25
alexcorde30 I haven't touched this mod in a long time... Maybe some API updates broke it.
jackik 20. Sep. 2018 um 23:08
I haven't tried it with this version, but have you used it in the past? The platform generates stone, but needs GRAVEL to turn that into the different metals. You need to use refineries to get that gravel from that stone first.
alexcorde30 20. Sep. 2018 um 13:18
I'm sorry, but in the SE version of today, (20/09/2018), I put it on the ground, I ad a reactor with fuel, and it don't work...Is it the SE version which is the problem ? I have a few other mods who pass trough the update without problem, so I don't know...somebody can help me ?
(sry if there is mistake in this text, I'm french, and I am not english teacher XD)
DoomerDGR8 30. Aug. 2018 um 11:42
Thanks for the awesome mod. What is this Stone Sifter Mod mentioned here? I cannot find a specific one...
Anthony AyeDog 5. Juni 2018 um 15:17
Definitely needs to be used with Tim or a dozen refineries+ depending on configurations and upgrades.

Loving the mod. Helping me to curve power usage with nanites control factory with occasional uranium ingots and as-needsd Cobalt and magnesium, neither of which I can be bored to mine for some reason
jackik 5. Juni 2018 um 12:11
it's not exactly the go to solution when auto building an entire fleet... Also for just letting it run, it can very well just clog up while i'm not there, so i tend to use it as a passive solution when i don't need huge masses anyway.
Tonatsi 5. Juni 2018 um 8:51
@jackik1410 depending on the situation, it can be faster, as you don't need to babysit it.
Just let it run on it's own while you do other things.
jackik 5. Juni 2018 um 6:10
correct, it is not as fast as the traditional method though
