This mod isn't really up-to-date anymore, but I don't think you'll have any issues running the Hearthfire Edition of this mod with the Legendary Edition, since LE includes Hearthfire. Other mods have come along since the release of this one that accomplish the same thing in a more efficient manner, and I've included links to them in the description above if you want to check them out.

i have the legendary edition and you only mention heartfire is this compatible with the legendary edition or is there another mod for that?
CountBB 19 Eki 2015 @ 15:10
Upped my immersion quality level immensely! Yes! I definitely like seeing things in the distance!
NizolaTE 23 Eyl 2014 @ 4:01

Yes, and it is recommended that you DO use it with Enhanced Distant Terrain for better results.
MightOfGuts 11 Mar 2014 @ 0:04
does this mod work with the mod Enhanced Distant Terrain by Vortikai?
Goodtime Charlie  [yaratıcı] 10 Mar 2014 @ 13:29
Nope, if you have Hearthfire installed all you have to do is download this and you should be set.
MightOfGuts 9 Mar 2014 @ 6:33
do you need SkyUI or SKSE to use this mod?

Sonneillon, i found out it was crashing cause of the load order. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPwiY7NBVTM

If you're having crashes, make sure the Hearthfire plugin is enabled first. If it is and you're still crashing, try deleting the SkyrimPrefs file from My Documents/My Games/Skyrim and then launch the game. The file will be rebuilt on launch, and this often fixes certain crashes.

I like Sakata Ginoki am having issues were this mod is making my skyrim crash. I have tried just loading this mod and tried loading this along with the author's suggested mods but the game would still crash.

Made my skyrim crash.

Smiles, the mod works on hand-picked objects in the game world, so if your enhanced items are items that were there in the original game, there is a chance some of them will show up. If you have a mod that adds new objects to the world, those objects will not show up unless the mod that governs them has specified that those items should be visible when distant.
Overwatch 2 1 Ağu 2013 @ 12:59
Will graphic mods installed also appear on objects that are added by this mod? (Like if I had enhanced trees or plants, would I see them from miles away?)
Goodtime Charlie  [yaratıcı] 27 Haz 2013 @ 21:07
That is very odd. Try deleting the SkyrimPrefs file in My Documents/Skyrim. The game will re-build that file with the default settings when you launch it next.

Hi there, thanks for the mod. I'm looking for some helpo with uninstalling it though, it seems that after removing the mod the lods are still the same? Do they stick with your saved games? I need to uninstall because i'm having performance issues, is there anything I can do to revert the changes? Thanks in advance.
Goodtime Charlie  [yaratıcı] 12 Oca 2013 @ 10:30
Actually, is mod is kind of outdated. I recommend people go to Skyrim Nexus and download the Skyrim Distance Overhaul, which is a more effecient iteration of this idea.
CyberStormAlpha 12 Oca 2013 @ 9:14
BOSS seems to indicate there's another, better version of this (with clean added to the file name). Was just that placed here, or is there somewhere else in the Workshop to get it?
Sir Panbot 16 Eki 2012 @ 11:22
Just tried this from the Nexus and it has solved my OCD dilemma of Ugrids vs performance. Many thanks :)

Thanks!
