What is Counter-Strike: Classic Offensive?
Counter-Strike: Classic Offensive is a mod made by Z00L that aims to bring back the classic feeling from CS 1.6 into CS:GO, by combining the two games.

The mod features replaced sounds, the old radio from 1.6, replaced weapon models, 1.6 nades, playermodels and more!

Installation Guide!
1. Download the latest version of Counter Strike: Classic Offensive here:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/counter-strike-classic-offensive/downloads

2. Extract the downloaded file. You should get a folder called csco.

3. Go to the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods

4. Drop the downloaded folder csco into the folder sourcemods.

5. Restart Steam.

6. Check your Steam game library for Counter-Strike: Classic Offensive.

7. Click on Play and enjoy! :)
How to play Online!
1. First search for a server you want to play on.
2. Copy the servers IP.
3. Open the console in CS:CO.
4. Type connect, paste the server IP in and press enter.
Should look like this: connect 176.9.1.116:25025

Common Questions!
Can this get me VAC-Banned?
No.

Can I play Matchmaking with this?
No not yet, but there are plenty of 5vs5 community servers.

Will this mod replace CS:GO?
No, Classic Offensive will be separately in your steam game library.

What do I need in order to run the mod?
All you need is CS:GO.

Does this work on Mac and Linux?
I don't think so, I haven't tried it out myself but people are reporting that it doesn't work on those 2 operating systems.

Thanks but it turns out it gives you a folder called csco and another folder called ClassicOffensive_Beta and I was accidently putting the latter folder in my sourcemods. Works fine now.
