Caernarfon Wales - vanilla, Celtic Coast theme

You made the fields like they are in real life?? Yes, yes I did. Allow me to present beautiful Caernarfon, Wales and a nice chunk of Anglesey Island. Just another step along the coast from Conwy and Snowdonia maps. Caernarfon is best known for its famous castle, perhaps the most magnificent medieval castle still standing.

It's playable as a vanilla map, although the optional Celtic Coast theme made for this map does make everything look correct. Using vanilla you will have some inconsistency and spottiness in the field colors and water / shoals won't look as nice. It won't be nearly as attractive. Also try out anyone else's theme you like or the theme mixer mod.

Giant project, a labor of love! I hope the work put into it speaks for itself since at the moment I'm a bit tired to write up all that this map has :D I had a lot of fun with it, I made it for myself, so I've included some of my in game images. There are some hwys and links that are not there in real life. I added them in later for you all to serve as traffic relief - My city had traffic nightmare but it turned into traffic heaven by adding bypasses, so I went back into this map and added the imaginary bypass for you all so you have a nice experience with traffic.

Yes, it's upside down... that's because the sun rotates backwards in C:S, so you have to flip your real world heightmaps 180 degrees lol
