Bigger Interface now compatible with HIP - Historical Immersion Project[forum.paradoxplaza.com].
This is a separat version of my Bigger Interface which is made specifically for maximum compatability with the Historical Immersion Project (HIP)[forum.paradoxplaza.com]
For vanilla, use the original Bigger Interface mod instead.
Sadly NOT compatible with the ARKOInterface module.


MOD features
  • Extended size of most parts of the interface, to take full advantage of the 1080p screen height.
  • Character finder, vassal lists, decisions, available plots and a range of other list are now extended, making you able to see more info on the screen.
  • Hugely increased decisions list. you can now see a total of 12 decisions at once, up from the original 4.
  • Redone Character view to give more room for traits and modifiers.
  • The keys "1" / "2" / "3" / "4" / "5" / "6" are added as keyboard shortcuts for the different internal tabs within the character, council, law, military and plot windows, this makes UI navigation much easier.
  • Integrated shortcuts form Arumba's Keyboard Shortcuts. In addition to adding some shortcuts of my own.
Patch and requirements
This mod requires a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080, or higher. Compatible with CKII patch 3.1.1 & HIP Release - 2019-05-18 [Furry7]For older versions of HIP (older patch) use this [https://www.dropbox.com/s/4o32844de4yhgib/BiggerInterface-HIP_CKII_2.8.3.zip?dl=0]version for 2.8.3[/url] or this [https://www.dropbox.com/s/dm0tqndflbp8vfp/BiggerInterface-HIP_CKII_2.7.1.zip?dl=0]version for 2.7.1[/url] or this version for 2.6.2[www.dropbox.com] instead. Versions of HIP older than that is likely to work with this but not guaranteed. Only the latest version will be actively supported.This submod requires to be run together with HIP[forum.paradoxplaza.com]. For vanilla, use the original Bigger Interface mod instead.
HIP module compatability
  • Arumba's Keyboard Shortcuts are integrated into this mod.
  • Integrated Tabs Shortcuts, now added to HIP, originates from this mod.
  • Recomended to have both the SWMH and EMF modules installed for maximum compatability.
  • ARKOInterface is NOT compatible. This is because both ARKOInterface and Bigger Interface are mods that change the look of the interface, thus are mutually exclusive by nature.
  • All other HIP modules are compatible and optional.
HIP custom installation
If you have installed HIP with a custom name, then you will need to manually change dependency in the "BiggerInterface-HIP-submod.mod"-file. On the following line:
dependencies = {"Bigger Interface" "HIP - Historical Immersion Project"}
Replace "HIP - Historical Immersion Project" with your custom HIP installation name.This is required to enable full compatability.
Keyboard Shortcuts
This mod contains all the shortcuts used by HIP.- "Arumba' Keyboard shortcuts" are integrated- "Internal Tabs shortcuts" (made by yours truly) is an itegraded part of Bigger Interface.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------For vanilla, use the original Bigger Interface mod instead.Old version[www.dropbox.com].Manual download[www.dropbox.com].

Hey, I'm using the latest version of HIP and this mod. There seem to be some alignment issues. For example, the section on the character display that shows claimed titles; the green border around the title flag showing a strong claim is offset to below the title image.

My display is 1920x1080.

Works quite fine with ck2 3.3.3 and HIP Frost 3.7.

My problem is that I can't play the game with UI Scaling under 1.25 (I can't read any text under that size), which means almost all windows appearing on the left side will be oversized for the screen and have their bottom part not shown.

Is there any place on the files I can edit to sort that out? I'd really like to play with this UI, it's way better than vanilla and quite better than arko.

Yeah, I'm playing with the newest HIP. Haven't experienced any compatibility issues.

@Kamufen, thanks for a quick answer. I changed it to 24 and it's much better now. Numbers are a lil' bit off but that's not a big issue. This is how it looks now - https://i.imgur.com/eO4vjfa.png

@Dyzio. This happens because the text (numbers) is to long to fit inside the given borders.
Should be easy to fix by adjusting maxWidth for the textbox. Line 1219 in domestic_law.gui. Change maxWidth by a tiny bit (to 24 or 26 perhaps).
This will display the numbers properly, but the text migth not fit inside the circle anymore.
