How to create Loading Icon for L4D2

This is my legacy,i try make this method 3 months..after this i create many cool loading icons..So take my method..my legacy

1.Programs
1.Photoshop
2.VTFEdit
3.Left 4 Dead Authoring Tools
4.GSFScape (for VPK files overview)
2.How
1.find gif. from gif you will create Loading Icon

2.Start Photoshop and open your gif.

3.Reduce your gif. into 64x64

4.Save all frames into PNG.!!!

5.Select ALL saved frames and drag them into opened VTFEdit

5.5 If your icon too fast add more frames

6.Save as VTF with this name l4d_spinner

6.5 Remember! Main folders name (which contain l4d_spinner.vtf) must be like this > *YOUREMODNAME* > materials > engine > l4d_spinner.vtf

6.6 Place youre "folder name" on VPK (you can find this program into l4d2 folder)

7.Go to Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools and upload your mod

ah, thx u for this. That guide need some update with more things about lifehacks for dis type of mods. Maybe do some later ;)

also if anyone get Error code: 2 try to restart your computer and if it doesnt work its because its porn and it needs to have "R18" in the description and the title

you mean finding vpk.exe on steamapps/common/Left4Dead2/bin or common/Left4Dead2/left4dead/bin then put a shortcut in the desktop and dragging the folder into the shortcut, I did it, I just want for future people who read the guide to understand better

hey Nobody, that means drop youre folder on VPK programm. Simple drop it by mouse :)

Perform a test in a resolution of 256x256 and if full load but looks very pixelized

im recommend keep 64x64 , but you can try use 240x240 (maybe u cant see whole img , but thats should work)
