This is a quick little thing I whipped up in the past few mins, hopes this helps everyone that's wants to do this. Enjoy.

1. Run Steam as administrator.


2. Go to where the game is installed, make a copy of Launcher.exe, and then paste it in the same place, rename copy of Launcher.exe to MAO.exe


3. Go to Steam, and add a non-game, browse to where the game is installed, and select MAO.exe, after that add selected program.


4. Right click on MAO in steam, and click properties. Copy and paste the text for each thing, and press ok.



Target:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Metal Assault\MAO.exe" "MAO" /LUpdateAddr:"patch.playmetalassault.com"

Start in:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Metal Assault\"

You can launch the game itself, and this is a work around the warp portal app, but you still need to login everytime when you start it up, instead of instant login. Note that Steam will not say you're playing the game.

Go to where you install this game at:
Change WPLauncher.exe to WPLauncherOLD.exe, then change Launcher.exe to WPLauncher.exe. This will launch the game itself than the warp portal app that will force you to make a new account, if you already account or wish to use an alt account.

It's up to you if you want to do this or not, this is the best work around, if you want to make an ALT account, already have an account, or etc...

Yes, I only made it like this in the guide, so it would be easy to find, and because it's sounds nice.

Easy to find the rename launcher, and it was less work to type. lol But for real you can just do that, or do what my guide says.

Few reason why, but short answer it's to force it to work.

I would of put a guide to how to have Steam start as admin all the time, but the reason why I didn't is simple. Do you know when you install a game, it ask you to install some drivers or what not? If you have Steam run as admin, it will automatically install those drivers every time you start the game up, so a bit of time wasting if you ask me.

Double check your work, by reading/looking what you put, and typed.

I wouldn't recommend doing this, until they fix this problem, because it's using an old protection system, which might auto temp ban you, and might have to contact warp portal for help.

I had this problem with Ragnarok 2 back in 2013, and it took me awhile, and some research, until I had idea, isn't there away to by pass a launcher, and looked up other games that has a way to bypass launcher with commands; And with few changes to the commands, it was just simple to do.

Didn't feel like doing it.
