Welcome to ComixPlay #1: The Endless Incident. We follow the adventures of the Solar Defenders as they try to overcome a mysterious robotic army threat. The game is a comic book with some RPG elements. The story of the game is basic in that it follows a team of heroes with supersuits through their missions. It also shows a bit of their origin stories, as well as how the team works together. The game elements are simple in that each character has power-up and support power-ups that can change the tide of the battle. The animations are quick and don't move too much to maintain the comic book style. Our only gripe would be that it can sometimes be more comic book than video game. The gameplay is very broken up at times and for a gamer with a tight schedule like myself, I can sometimes find myself wanting a quick round of gaming, but never getting to it because of the comic book element. Overall, ComixPlay is a cool idea and something that can get better with more of a gameplay focus in the future.

[Note: The developers behind ComixPlay provided us with a review key for the game. As of this moment, this will be a one-shot of the game with no follow-up videos.]

ComixPlay: The Endless Incident is a 124 page digital graphic novel written by Al Sirois (Former Marvel and DC Illustrator) with art by Zach Bassett (Arcana, Zenescope) and Wesley Wong (Marvel Masterworks) 
Whenever the Solar Defenders engage in a fight, the heroes can leap out of the book and play a turn based battle. 
Each of the Solar Defenders has its own superpowers and abilities and it's up to you to combine their strength and win the fight.
