Fluff

My second version of a late international style/high modernist/early corporate (insert your own moniker here) office midrise. Here's the earlier, smaller (11 floor) tower.

Very much inspired by the work Pelli and Lumsden did in LA during the second half of the 1960s: Century City Medical Plaza, San Bernadino City Hall - love it! Since we already had a number of 'earlier' international style buildings (I'm looking at you, multiple Chase Manhattan Plaza reinterpretations) I thought it'd be best to pick up and run with a different modernist aesthetic :)

Ha I like this incarnation of Pelli best, what with the super-minimalist approach through novel materials (treated glass, reverse mullions), making the buildings even more 'slabby' than earlier International Style ones ;)

Afterwards the dude turned into 'just' one of the many starchitects, guns for hire. WFC, Petronas, etc.; I ladmire em but don't love em.
