Welcome to my map!

This map commemorates the 99th anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Somme.

It recreates the fight for ''Pommiers redoubt'', a german strongpoint between Mametz and Montauban.
This circular trench fortress, protected with machine guns and barbed wire, was a first day objective. It's generally assumed that the first day was a complete failure, but this is not entirely true. The 18th and 30th divisions succeeded in their goals, at Mametz and Montauban, at the southernmost part of the Somme. This strongpoint was captured at 9:30 AM, 1st July 1916.

In this mission, you will play as the 18th division, capturing and defending Pommiers redoubt.

HOW TO OPEN THE MISSION?
- Subscribe and then open the editor. Then, press F3, click load and select the file ''mission.mis''. Click start, press F1 and press '1' in the numpad to play as the british.

NOTE (PLEASE READ) : I updated the map and all the dialogues, objectives, hints and reinforcements disappeared. I had to script them again, so please notify me if there is any bug or mistake. THANKS.
