This travel guide will give you insight on where to find accommodation, how to get around the city, recommended bars, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Tickets
Tickets for the 2015 International will go on sale on Friday March 27th for $99 via TicketMaster[www.ticketmaster.com] at the following times:

  • Seattle: March 27th at 10:00 and 22:00

  • Rio de Janeiro: March 27th at 14:00 and March 28th at 02:00

  • London: March 27th at 17:00 and March 28th at 05:00

  • Moscow: March 27th at 20:00 and March 28th at 08:00

  • Beijing: March 28th at 01:00 and 13:00

  • Seoul: March 28th at 02:00 and 14:00

  • Singapore: March 28th at 01:00 and 13:00

  • Sydney: March 28th at 04:00 and 16:00

Venue
KeyArena is located on Seattle Center’s campus just north of Downtown Seattle at the bottom of Queen Anne Hill. Located between 1st and 5th Avenue NE and Denny Way and Mercer Street.

Travelling to Seattle
If you're travelling to Seattle from a different country or state you can find some information on transport options below.




International Travelers[www.cbp.gov]

If you're travelling to the United States it's advised to check the US Homeland Security website for details regarding required travel documentation and prohibited items. Entering the country without the correct documentation could result in you being sent home at the airport. Everyone seeking entrance to the US will need a valid passport and some form of Visa.

Greyhound Bus[www.greyhound.com]

Plane Travel
If you're planning to fly to Seattle from within the United States I recommend checking out price comparison websites such as Priceline[www.priceline.com] or Expedia[www.expedia.com] for good deals. Airline ticket prices fluctuate daily, and tend to be more expensive the closer to the date.





Amtrak[www.amtrak.com]

Accommodation

Keep travel time in mind when booking your accommodation as The International can run late into the night past public transportation operating hours.
Sightseeing
Seattle has many world famous sights and attractions for tourists to look at. Below is a list of some of the most popular. Visit the City of Seattle's website[www.seattle.gov] for a full list of tourist attractions.


Space Needle[www.spaceneedle.com]
One of the most iconic buildings in all of Seattle located nearby the KeyArena. Ticket information and hours of operation can be found on the spaceneedle website[www.spaceneedle.com].





EMP Museum
Located near the Space Needle, the EMP Museum is a Pop Culture, Music and Sci-Fi museum. A list of current Exhibits can be found here[www.empmuseum.org].





Pike Place Market[pikeplacemarket.org]
The world famous Pike Place Market. A must see for all Seattle visitors, make sure to witness the famous fish throwers, pick up some Piroshkis at Piroshky Piroshky, have some mac and cheese at Beecher's Cheese and have a cup of coffee at the first Starbucks location. Safeco Field
If you're a fan of baseball or sports in general, Seattle is home of the famous Safeco Field.





Seattle Waterfront[www.seattlewaterfront.org]
The Seattle Waterfront offers a wide variety of activities such as an Arcade, an Aquarium, private charters, cruises, restaurants, and an Olympic Sculpture Park. More information can be found on their website.[www.seattlewaterfront.org]

Restaurants
Seattle has a lot of great bars and restaurant. Urbanspoon is a website[www.urbanspoon.com] which lists highly rated restaurants within a certain area. Urbanspoon also has an app which locates nearby restaurant using GPS and displays reviews and navigation instructions.

It's a new project I'm working on that sorts hotels and other cheaper rentals by distance to KeyArena (the venue where the tourney will be held) to help u guys know where ur room is located based on the venue's distance.
