Triss Merigold
By 威哥佛特呲
Triss Merigold, is the lover and helper of the male protagonist Geralt. He is a close friend and rival of another female protagonist, Yennefa.
As a close friend of Yennefer, Triss does not have as many scenes in the novel as Ye . She basically appears as a supporting supporting role. For example, when Geralt's adopted daughter Ciri entered a trance like prophetic state due to the power of the Ancient Blood during her training in Kelmohan, Geralt sought the help of Trish, who was proficient in medical spells.
Despite being proficient in medical skills and constantly carrying many medical potions, Tris herself can only heal her injuries through other means because she has a peculiar physique. Although she can use spells, her body is allergic to the effects they produce. This means that she faces higher risks in battle compared to other warlocks.
Trish's War of Fame took place in the famous Battle of Mount Soldon, where sorcerers from various northern countries engaged in a fierce battle with the wizards of Nivigad. In the end, the Nivigad people were repelled, but fourteen brave wizards, also known as the Fourteen of Mount Soldon, perished. Trish was one of them. She did not actually die in battle, but the battle left obvious scars on her body, and as someone sensitive to magic, she could only live a life of wearing a high collar and going out from then on.
Although she was very familiar with the relationship between Yennefar and Geralt, Triss still had feelings for Geralt that surpassed friendship. This became a psychological burden for her, but also a potential desire waiting for the moment to erupt. And finally, after many years, the opportunity came in some unexpected way.
Novel: (Mentioning) meeting Geralt through Yennefar and being attracted. Later, when Geralt and Yennefar broke up again, they fell in love with the White Wolf.
Elf Blood "was summoned by Vesemir (actually Geralt) to Kelmohan to treat" sick "Shiri, only to discover that Shiri's condition was caused by the power of the ancient bloodline. Later, he fell ill on the way with Geralt and his team to the Temple of Merry, but fortunately with the help of the White Wolf and the Dwarf Guard, his condition improved.
In the Xiannide political upheaval, she sided with Philippa in 'The Age of Despair'.
After the defeat of "The baptism of fire" on Sened Island, he managed to send Geralt, who had been beaten to death by Vigofotz (the novel boss), to the Brock Leon Forest for treatment with tree spirits.
The Lady of the Lake (temporary translation) returned to Leviath with Geralt and his team, and subsequently participated in the battle to prevent humans from massacring non-human races. She released the Azul Thunder (one of the most powerful spells in the novel) in Leviath. Later, he witnessed Geralt's "death" and bid farewell to Ciri on the small boat carrying Geralt and Yennefar.
Game: After Geralt disappeared for 5 years in The Witcher, Trish stayed by his side with amnesia and played a huge role in the battle between the White Wolf and the Fire Lizard Gang. At the end of the first generation of the game, she became an advisor to the Fuerteste King of Tamoria. Depending on her choices, she and the White Wolf will have different endings in the first generation (of course, regardless of the ending in the first installment, Geralt will still return to Triss in the second installment).
