500 gold cost for upgrading lane creeps.
Creeps give 3 gold split between all heroes per upgrade to it's team (rounded up).

Upgrades appear on units when they spawn (units actually spawn about 15s before they are "released" so timing may vary).

Attack range gives +1 to melee and +3 to ranged units.
Crit tooltip may look bit odd. It starts with 5% chance and 120% crit damage. Over 100% crit chance gives chance for greater crits. The chance in tooltip may have issues updating.
