Important Resources & Where to Farm Them
In Warframe, there are many resources, but some are vital for progressing in crafting Warframes, weapons, and essential items. Below, we'll break down the most important resources and the best places to farm each of them.


1. Ferrite
Ferrite is a common resource found primarily in the early stages of Warframe and is essential for many blueprints.

Best Locations:
    Earth - Terminus: Quick and easy missions that are perfect for farming Ferrite. Mercury - Caloris: An exterminate mission with high Ferrite drop rates.
  • Void - Hepit: Great for higher-level players looking to farm Ferrite with a bonus of Void Relics.


2. Alloy Plate
Alloy Plates are a common resource, crucial for crafting several Warframes and weapons.

Best Locations:
    Venus - Wahiba (Survival): Higher enemy spawn rate, making it easy to gather Alloy Plates. Jupiter - Sinai (Dark Sector Survival): Excellent drop rates and additional rewards.
  • Ceres - Seimeni (Defense): A good option for those who prefer defense missions.


3. Polymer Bundles
Polymer Bundles are a common resource used for crafting Warframes, weapons, and various gear in the game. Although they are not as rare as some other resources, you still need to farm them efficiently for large amounts.

How to Obtain Polymer Bundles:

  • Farm missions on Corpus tilesets:

    Best Locations:
    - Assur (Uranus)
    - Ophelia (Uranus)

  • Use Warframes that increase drop rates:
    - Nekros
    - Khora
    - Hydroid
  • Bring a resource booster to increase drop chances.

4. Neurodes
Neurodes are a rare resource needed in a variety of blueprints, particularly for Warframes and weapons.

Best Locations:
    Earth - Orokin Derelict Survival: Excellent source of Neurodes, especially at higher rotations. Lua - Tycho: Neurodes drop frequently here, with the bonus of high XP gains.
  • Eris - Akkad: Known for frequent Neurode drops in Survival missions.


5. Argon Crystals
Argon Crystals decay over time, so only farm these when you need them!

Best Locations:
    Void - Hepit (Capture): Quick mission with reliable Argon Crystal drops. Void - Teshub (Exterminate): Ideal for solo farming, with high Argon Crystal drop rates.
  • Void - Oxomoco (Survival): If you need a lot of Argon Crystals, this is a good long-run option.


6. Plastids
Plastids are essential for crafting more advanced equipment.

Best Locations:
    Saturn - Piscinas (Dark Sector Survival): One of the best spots for Plastids. Uranus - Ophelia (Survival): High drop rate for Plastids; stay for longer missions for maximum rewards.
  • Eris - Akkad (Defense): A popular choice for Plastid farming, especially in groups.


7. Oxium
Oxium is a rare resource used primarily for crafting high-tier weapons and Warframes, especially in the later stages of the game. It's often required in large quantities for certain components.

Best Locations:
    Ceres - Seimeni (Defense): A good spot for Oxium farming, especially in high-level Defense missions.Jupiter - Io (Defense): A great place for Oxium farming, particularly during longer survival runs.Jupiter - Elara (Survival): Excellent for Oxium farming during extended missions.Europa - Hynd (Excavation): Another location where Oxium drops during Excavation missions.

Advanced Materials
These materials are needed for more advanced crafting and take longer to gather, but they're essential for late-game progress.


8. Orokin Cells
Orokin Cells are used in many high-level blueprints, including Prime equipment.

Best Locations:
    Saturn - Tethys (Assassination): Killing General Sargas Ruk has a chance to drop Orokin Cells. Ceres - Seimeni (Defense): Good for farming Orokin Cells in large quantities.
  • Derelict - Survival Missions: Orokin Cells drop here frequently, especially with boosted loot drop chances.


9. Cryotic
Cryotic is a unique resource gained only in Excavation missions and is necessary for many Warframe weapons and components.

Best Locations:
    Earth - Everest (Excavation): Great for beginners who need Cryotic. Europa - Valefor (Excavation): Excellent Cryotic farming with moderate enemy difficulty.
  • Neptune - Despina (Excavation): Perfect for higher-level players needing large quantities of Cryotic.

10. Kuva
Kuva is a unique and highly sought-after resource, especially for Riven Mod upgrades.

Best Locations:
    Kuva Siphon/Flood Missions: Available on the Star Chart; Kuva Siphon yields 200-250 Kuva, while Flood yields double. Taveuni on the Kuva Fortress (Survival): Endless Survival missions here are excellent for steady Kuva farming.
  • Kuva Disruption: Disruption missions on the Kuva Fortress also yield Kuva and allow you to farm other resources as well.


11. Nitain Extract
Nitain Extract is only available through specific alerts or by using Nightwave points.

How to Obtain Nitain Extract:
    Complete Nightwave missions for Nightwave credits, which you can spend on Nitain Extract. Keep an eye out for alerts featuring Nitain Extract as a reward.
12. Tellurium
Tellurium is a rare resource primarily used in crafting Archwing-related gear and certain Warframes. It is known for its low drop rate, making it one of the more challenging resources to farm.

How to Obtain Tellurium:
    Farm Tellurium in Archwing missions such as "Salmacis" (Neptune) or "Caelus" (Uranus).Play Grineer Sealab tilesets (Uranus) and Railjack missions, where enemies have a chance to drop Tellurium.Utilize Warframes like Nekros or Khora to boost drop rates via Desecrate and Pilfering Strangledome.Stay in missions longer to maximize enemy spawns and drop opportunities.

Ha, gotcha! :er_heart: But seriously, Ophelia on Uranus is actually a solid spot for farming Polymer Bundles. It’s a Corpus tileset with great resource drop rates, especially in Survival missions.
