Enabling Third-Person View with Crosshair in Left 4 Dead 2
By default the game works without crosshair in third-person (TP). Follow the steps below in order to make TP works with mostly accurate crosshair:

1. Create a configuration file named 'autoexec.cfg' inside \<Game directory>\left4dead2\cfg. Make sure it's NOT 'autoexec.cfg.txt'.

2. Place all the following convars inside the file:
bind "f6" "thirdpersonshoulder" c_thirdpersonshoulderaimdist "1200" c_thirdpersonshoulderheight "0" c_thirdpersonshoulderdist "37" c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset "25" c_thirdpersonshouldersnapto "1" c_mindistance "37" c_maxdistance "37" cam_ideallag "0" cam_idealpitch "0" cam_idealyaw "0" cam_collision "1" bind "alt" "middleviewHigh" alias normalviewHigh "c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 25; c_thirdpersonshoulderheight 0; c_thirdpersonshoulderdist 37; c_mindistance 37; c_maxdistance 37; bind alt middleviewHigh" alias middleviewHigh "c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 0; c_thirdpersonshoulderheight 15; c_thirdpersonshoulderdist 50; c_mindistance 50; c_maxdistance 50; bind alt normalviewHigh" alias normalviewLow "c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 25; c_thirdpersonshoulderheight -15; c_thirdpersonshoulderdist 33; c_mindistance 33; c_maxdistance 33; bind alt middleviewLow" alias middleviewLow "c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 0; c_thirdpersonshoulderheight 0; c_thirdpersonshoulderdist 55; c_mindistance 55; c_maxdistance 55; bind alt normalviewLow" bind "f7" "switchviews" alias switchviews "c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 25; c_thirdpersonshoulderheight -15; c_thirdpersonshoulderdist 33; c_mindistance 33; c_maxdistance 33; bind alt middleviewLow; bind f7 switchviews1" alias switchviews1 "c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 25; c_thirdpersonshoulderheight 0; c_thirdpersonshoulderdist 37; c_mindistance 37; c_maxdistance 37; bind alt middleviewHigh; bind f7 switchviews"

Scammers
Pharming

Pharming is a malicious website that resembles a legitimate website, used to gather usernames and passwords.

You might encounter some links randomly through your friend chat, on your Steam profile etc. Before clicking the link, make sure the link is the original link from Steam and not a pharming link. For example: staemcommunnutly<dot>com<slash>gift<slash>activation=Dor5Fhnm1w. You could see it's actually 'staemcommunnutly' (the pharming link) and not 'steamcommunity' (the real link).

Links that get auto-expanded by Steam are most likely safe. For example: Steam Workshop link, chat room invitation link, Steam group link, Steam Discussion link.

Spoofing

Spoofing describes a criminal who impersonates another individual or organization, with the intent to gather personal or business information.

Scammers sometimes spoof even your own identity in a fake trade activity and provide the screenshot images as proof. However, the scammer could easily edit the images to fool you. So do not further entertain their demand.

Steam Staff

Steam staff will never contact you via Steam chat. So if someone told you he/she is a Steam staff in the Steam chat that's that's surely a scammer.
